"Rodney was so polite, jovial, kind and efficient at staying in contact with me before the move. He worked very hard. On the other hand, he consistently under estimated the time it would take to get tasks done. That meant a lot of extra waiting e.g. he arrived about 1 PM when the move was to start at 10 AM. When they started loading, I noticed there was no cover for the mattress. Once we finally arrived at the destination, a 5 hour drive, he did not have a hand truck or dolly. That was surprising since I assumed all movers would automatically have those tools. Luckily he borrowed one from the super. There were some small gashes on my 7 foot armoire. The electrical cord to my recliner was never found. It was so late when they were done unloading that he asked me to reassemble some items because he had to get back home - still a 5 hour drive. And he was so very exhausted. Unloading was arduous - there was an elevator and a longer walk than usual to get to the wing of the apartment."
