He takes care of my lawn weekly with mowing, edging, blowing, trimming foliage around the property, and trimming the fig. He also helps keep my sprinklers and drip system working and properly placed to make sure my lawn, plants, and flowers always look good. He has also done some handywork for me. "They did a good job fixing the sprinkler system, but they left a long rubber piece sticking out of the ground in the back yard. I don't know what it is or if it's safe to cut it off. His work was way over-priced. They did not give us a written estimate. I believe he got us confused with another estimate. He quoted us price. After the work was done, the bill was $300 more than he quoted. When I questioned him, he said he gave us an $800 discount. He said, I quoted you It was more than $1,000 over what he had actually quoted us. We would never have agreed to what he said he quoted us because we thought the lower price was still way too much. Getting him paid was a nightmare. He told us he accepted credit cards. When we tried to pay him through Home Advisor using a credit card, it wasn'tt set up to take credit cards. I ended up having to get a cash draw on my credit card, which cost me an additional $45. There were four sprinkler valves on the side of my house. They replaced all four. Then they told me two of them weren'tt connected to anything. They didn't speak English well enough to make me understand why they replaced the two that weren'tt connected to anything. I gave them 3 stars because (1) he came out when he said he would (which 3 other contractors didn't do) and (2) the sprinkler system works for the first time in 2 years. Everything else about this job was not a good experience."
