"We needed interior painting, wall repairs, stove hood refurbishing, steel doors repair, andv staining. These painters had square feet of walls, ceilings, stairs, and trim. They submitted a detailed estimate for every room. They listed all supplies they would need. They started on the exact day they estimated. Shane and Makenzie also offered paint samples for suggestions and gave us honest recommendations when we wanted their advice. The lines where a wall meets the ceiling is crisp and clean. It is true, Painted by Shane can paint! They spent as much effort covering items as painting. Our home was spotless. Painted by Shane is very fairly priced and their work is a source of pride to them. They were very quick to communicate. It has been enjoyable to work with and meet them. We will use them again and again."

"M.C. Coating did a beautiful job of painting my home. It had not been painted in about 20 years and the old paint had been damaged by years of tobacco use. With the use of Kilz, Mr. McMasters was able to completely cover the problem areas and the house sold in ONE DAY on the market. Thank you, Mr. McMasters for all your hard work!!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Rockville, IN

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
