"Very happy from start to finish. They have clearly installed hundreds if not thousands of doors. Husband and wife team. Came out and measured the door, along with advice on where to look for doors. This resulted in savings of thousands by not going through tv ad companies. (You buy a door from whoever and they install. This made the process hassle free, because again they donâ  t care where you get the door, they only charge to install.) Great communication to line up a date/time and very personable throughout. I would highly recommend."

"Refinish exterior side of 2 entry doors using my garage as shop space. New stain & multiple coats of varnish applied. They look like new again after multiple coats of varnish applied & properly cured. New weather stripping installed as needed & doors are secure and properly functioning. I provided light assist moving/installing doors and propane heater during cold weather. Unplanned cold snap added to drying time & heat expense."

"Work got done but Nate was very forgetful about closing the door from my house to my garage and closing the garage door, and since the work was done in the winter, it was very annoying. I would come home from work at night and the house would be wide open to the cold. When he sanded a wall in the laundry room he didn't close off the room or cover anything outside the room, cover the upper large vent in the room or under the door. As a result there was a very heavy coating of dust and drywall dirt over everything in my house - my floors, my treadmill, tv's, laptop, all counters and tables, absolutely everything as well as a visible haze and cloud of dust in the air when I got home, causing me to sneeze. He opened the box and removed the new fan I had purchased for my upper bathroom before he tried to remove the old one, and then found out he couldn't get the old one out. I had to keep reminding him to remove his shoes when using the front door and coming down my carpeted stairs, as he left oily, muddy stains on the carpeting one of the first times he was here, but he kept forgetting to. Communication with him was absolutely terrible as far as dates, times he would be here, etc. Although he seems to be a nice guy, he is forgetful, and it created a very frustrating experience over all and I had very little confidence in him. Ultimately everything seems to work and looks decent but it was such a stuggle getting there. Since he charges by project, which I wasn't used to doing, I felt I was overcharged."

"CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was needed to get a good result."

"Had our siding done on our home this summer by Sela; I would strongly recommend them. The salesman was down to earth and honest, not blowing smoke like salesmen do. The siding crew did A+ work, very personable and friendly and seemed interested in paint options I was doing myself for window trim and garage door. Answered my many questions with a smile:) Project manager was always available to answer cost questions and kept us updated via email. Overall a great experience."

"Above all, the main things we liked about Eric and his team were how great they were to work with. We were very indecisive customers, and he worked with us patiently and flexibly as we changed our minds over the course of several months before finally deciding on what we wanted. He gave us numerous quotes as we tried to get the cost down to what we could afford. He adjusted his schedule to meet our needs, even bailing us out at short notice when we realized we needed some major extra help with a demolition project that we'd originally intended to do ourselves. Eric was super responsive, easy to stay in contact with, very helpful, punctual, and did quality work.  <br /> Our main objective was to replace the carpeting in our dining room and the tile in our kitchen with LVP (a hard floor that looks like wood). However, we had a banister in our dining room that had several problems. First, the balusters went directly into the carpet. The carpet was cut around each individual baluster, which would not be practical for a hard floor. We couldn't switch from carpet to a hard floor without dealing with this issue. Also, the banister had sustained some damage, with some wood broken off the handrail and two balusters missing. Finally, the balusters were too far apart to meet code and were a safety hazard for our children.   <br /> As we began getting quotes on the banister, we were shocked at how expensive it would be to replace it entirely. Eric worked with us to choose new balusters that would go well with our existing handrail and newel posts. In that way, we were able to save a lot of money by using some of our existing wood.  <br /> Eric and his team essentially removed our banister and then put it back in again with the new balusters in order to install wood landing tread underneath it in order to make it possible for us to have a hard floor. They also repaired our damaged handrail and tightened everything up (repairing some previous looseness).  <br /> The "new" banister looks great--better even than we expected! It looks up-to-date and very nice. <br /> We also ran into the issue of needing help demolishing our tile floor. More layers than we expected had to be removed, and it became quickly clear that we wouldn't be able to do it ourselves. Eric's team took over with very short notice, did a great job, and charged a reasonable price. <br /> We would definitely recommend Eric. He was responsive, flexible, helpful, and punctual, and his team was great.   <br /> <br />"
