"Had a leaky back porch roof that had been done in old fashion (nails) and bad masonry, and resulted in leaking that caused holes drywall to cave in section of porch roof. Called several roofers over months; they were either unable to do the job, charged excessive rates or unresponsive. Second City responded, provided a competitive quote quickly and (after some scheduling issues due to weather) completed the job as planned. They were respectful, answered questions and addressed concerns. No leaks in new roof (I know b/c we haven't fixed drywall yet). Also referred an AC guy who did good work as well - would use again."

"Steve was wonderful and easy to work with. They were able to meet our schedule and provide all the answers and support we needed to install our new roof. We are new homeowners and knew this day was going to come. Sadly, it came earlier than expected but SPU made the experience easy and calming. They were able to complete the entire roof in one day!! They left the yard pretty clean and didn't damage any of my property. Since they have installed we have had two storms and so far so good!! "It was kind of an emergency for me as squirrels had eaten a hole in my roof. Also my existing roof, two layers of shingles, needed to be replaced although I wanted to wait until summer 2020. I got an estimate from another roofer about two days prior but their prices were too high. I needed this done ASAP because of the hole and it was November. The weather was about to get too cold to get it done. I called Tom at Buk roofing. He came out that day and gave me an estimate. Great price for what I wanted done. He was pretty booked and said he would try to get it done by Thanksgiving, I called him November 6 2019. Tom is a roofer with a heart because he called me the next day and said he and his crew would be out Saturday 11/10/2019. They arrived a 7:00 am and were done a little after dark. He and his crew got it done and walked all around my property for clean up. These guys were great and I would definitely hire again."
