"Gleyson was extremely personable and responsive, and his team incredibly hard working. I initially chose to hire Vellox over other contractors we had come out because Gleyson was the *only* one out of 5 who actually climbed up on the roof to check it out. Everyone else just stood on the street corner 50 yards away and eyeballed it. Maybe, as an expert, that’s all you need to do, but Gleyson certainly gave me a lot more confidence with his approach. Throughout the process, Gleyson was almost always near-immediately responsive, and also very understanding when we temporarily thought we’d have to delay work to deal with another issue first. I don’t even really expect ultra-prompt replies, but I don’t think I ever waited more than an hour for a response on any inquiry. The day of work, Gleyson and his team arrived promptly at 7am, and had the entirety of the work done within a single day - ripping off multiple layers of old roof, installing a new one, and adding vents/flashing throughout. Obviously, it’s a little early too early to accurately assess the workmanship, but you get the sense Gleyson takes a great deal of pride in his work and genuinely wants to do a great job - which was not the sense I picked up from other contractors - so I feel confident the roof will be as good as advertised. Two small negative marks: 1.) After paying a sizable deposit and being given an estimated start date, it took way longer than expected to receive shingle samples, and by the time we received them, we’d already surpassed the initial start date we’d set. I wouldn’t have minded simply being told they were going to get started later than anticipated or that he wasn’t going to make a drop off as expected. As it was, it made me a little uneasy that I’d handed over a sizable check and suddenly everything halted. 2.) With an older house, we didn’t have plywood sheet decking; just 1x12 planks with gaps between them. During the tear-off process, a ton of debris fell into the attic. Clean-up wasn’t a huge deal, but a little Googling around seems like this is a fairly common problem. Would’ve been good to get some warning on this just so we could at least cover up our belongings to shield them. Overall though, extremely pleased and would recommend Gleyson/Vellox’s services to anyone."

"I called NMTI regarding a leaky roof. They not only answered my call (at least 6 other roofers didnt pick up or return a call), but they came out on two days later to give me a quote. Ramon came to my house and was the consummate professional. He explained the options to me and was very honest with his quote. He basically said the job would only require 1 man for a couple hours of work so it would be their minimum charge. He offered to have someone come out on Monday (2 days later). It was delayed one day because of rain, but the work was completed by 9am on Tuesday. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Juan regarding an entire roof replacement. I know it is necessary, it wasnt something they tried to push on me. Juan came out this morning and measured my roof and provided me with a quick, detailed, and very fairly priced quote. Not only would I recommend NMTI for their service, I'd also recommend them because they are good and honest people that have treated my wife and I with the utmost respect."

"Joe Hennelly and his excellent crew did a fantastic job on our roof replacement, from start to finish. First of all, communication with Joe was great, from the initial phone call to the day of the job and throughout the job. The crew knows exactly what it's doing and worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They took great care to protect our home and yard from debris as they stripped the roof. Perhaps most impressive to me was their cleanup: after they were gone, I looked long and hard around the property for any debris they might have missed, and found none! Honestly, there was no evidence in my yard that a roofing job was done at all -- except that the new roof looked great. They truly left things better than they found them. "FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!"
