"I cannot recommend Dan and his team enough!! My wife and I bought our first home together, which had beautiful pine floors ( 40 years old) on the first floor - except for in one bedroom which was carpeted. The second floor consisted of three carpeted bedrooms. The staircases was a red oak that was stained an ugly amber color. We wanted to tear out the carpets and replace them with hardwood floors however our fear was to shell out a lot of money and have the house look like a jigsaw puzzle made up of different wood. On top of this, we had to match some pretty tight timelines and get this job done. Dan came in on short notice and was able to advise us - he assured us we could install pine floors in the bedroom downstairs which would match the first floor look, and that we could add red oak upstairs as well as sand down the stairs and refinish them to match the red oak on the second floor. Dan and his team came in guns blazing and did a fantastic job. They were able to complete everything ahead of schedule while maintaining high standards for their work. They are extremely professional, reliable, work hard and fast, and can deliver. Do yourself a favor, if you have a project in mind, make your life easier and get it done right with Dan and his team. "Tao and Taozen flooring exceeded our expectations. Our work was completed on time and on budget. Tao and his entire crew are extremely easy to work with. They are neat, respectful and responsive. Tao and his crew removed over 2000 square feet of carpet in multiple rooms and installed new white oak flooring. Tao also replaced two carpeted staircases with the same oak. Tao and his crew were meticulous on our floors and stairs, even spending an additional day to make sure our stair frame and plywood was level and secure before adding the treads and kick boards. Tao refinished the few rooms of existing hardwood we had at no additional cost and all of our new floors match our existing floors perfectly. Tao and Taozen flooring are the only company I will use on future projects. I cannot recommend them enough."

"Duoc was a pleasure to work with. I initially hired him to fix and replace floors at my parent's house. He refinished some existing wood floors, matched and installed new hardwood floors, and his uncle installed some luxury vinyl tile in the bathroom. He did such a wonderful job that we also hired him at our own newly purchased house to refinish existing and install new hardwood, and again his uncle installed tile in our entry. "LB Special Projects is an excellent company. I am very happy with the results of my project. They took over a kitchen and bath remodel that had been running for eight months. The toughest part of the job was correcting the work of the previous contractor. So much time, materials and money had been wasted and getting someone to come in behind another contractor is a real challenge. However, LB Special Projects sized up the effort, figured out what had to be done, estimated the work and did a fantastic job. They finished the job in what I think was record time. One of the many projects that they took care of, and that amazes me the most, was the floor patch in the kitchen. They managed to find the right sized planks to patch a 100-year old floor.
