"We found Precision Fence on Angie's List.  Mitchell from Precision Fence and Construction was very prompt and professional when he came out to our house to give us a quote.  He reviewed the poorly constructed fence built by another fence company, and was able to suggest many options to fix our fence issues. <br>A few of the other companies I called from Angie's List quote five weeks to start the job.  Precision Fence was able to start within a week. <br>On construction day, Mitchell and Frank (our project manager) showed up to our house.  They reviewed the scope of the job completely with us to ensure our fence was built exactly as we requested. <br>The quality of the fence they built was one of the best I have seen, and they were able to tear down the old fence and completely rebuilt the new fence within a day!  Precision Fence is the right name for this company.  To top if all off, they did it at a fair price!  "

"Julio Barletta and company installed our fence in September 1995. Yes, I know this review is kind of late :). I just wanted to add my two cents worth. Twenty four years of hot, baking summer sun; pouring down rain; wind storms; hail storms; and everything else North Central Texas weather can throw at it, this fence still looks brand new. The backyard is on a 15 degree incline. The fence is 8 ft. level top, board on board, clear cedar. Over the courser of time, the fence has been power washed and re-stained 3 times. In Texas, if you don't maintain your fence, you are asking for disaster. People are astounded when I tell them how old it is. Most think I must be mistaken. I tell them when it was installed and then tell them to do the math. Again, I just wanted to add my voice and reaffirm what other reviewers have said. Barletta fences are the gold standard."

"Greg installed our fence in 2003. We have used it at all times during the last 21 years and it has not only kept kids and animals out of our pool (except when we wanted our kids and others in the pool), but it has also kept out grass clippings from lawnmowers and some leaves. Recently 85-90 mph winds damaged a small part of our fence (and caused four significant branches from our large oak tree to fall). Greg repaired that part of our fence at no charge even though the damage was due to an Act of Nature instead of a defect. Highly recommend!"

"Everything went great.   Met with Aaron who promptly provided an estimate.   He also dropped off a couple of stain samples for me to select my final choice of new stain that would be applied to the fence.   We scheduled a time to begin the work and within 2-3 days the job was complete.   Aaron took extra time to adjust the fence to ensure that the stain did not come in contact with the cement footing.   Aaron and his team did a great job and especially appreciated the extra care taken to ensure the stain spray did not get all over the cement, gate handle, etc.    Very happy with the services and the fence looks great!   Overall excellent experience! <br />"

I hired him to replace a wooden fence post but when he came to my house and saw what I needed done he recommended that I install a metal pole instead because it lasts longer. "One of our cats damaged a family heirloom (Korean imported silk screen) by climbing on it. We have a very open floor plan house, and are limited as to where we could display it. My husband was so upset.. he was at the point where it was the cats or him.. but somebody was leaving. I searched the internet for a solution and found Invisible Fence of Greater Dallas. The website was more dog focused... but I called anyway, desperate for a solution. I was delighted to hear it could be used for cats. Bobby with Invisble Fence arrived promptly, and explained the system how it functioned and why it was a good selection for my cats. He evaluated the areas we wanted to deter the cats from and calibrated the disks to the appropriate field. He explained how the collars could be set to allow different pets into differnet areas, and how if we got a dog in the future, he could be added to the same system. Bobby assisted in helping us train the cats, so they would understand where the invisible barrier is, and how to escape the area. He also evaluated the cats to ensure that they were of suitable size ( 6 - 7 pounds min) for the system. One cat took immediately to the system and stopped accessing the "off limit" areas. The other cat persisted in entering the areas. Bobby returned at no cost to us, and incresed the shock level on her collar. She occasionally tests the barriers, but with one shock decides that it is not worth it. Our cats have remained unharmed by the system. Finding this system was a unique solution to a complicated situation. We have had the system in place 8 months and have had to relpace the batteries in the cat collar's once. And most importantly both husband and cats have made peace with one another. :) The system was not cheap, but it was worth it. We are very satisified and would continue to use this company and service. They even special ordered us some really cute collars, our girl has a pink camoflague collar and our boy a green checkered print."

"Throughout all phases of the project they were very accessible for communication and responsive to our questions. They listened to our ideas and ultimately came up with a much better design for our space than we had in mind. When the new spa was finally installed a few months later (everything takes longer than you think it will) we called to get on Lone Star's schedule for the deck construction. We were scheduled to be away from home when they had an opening for our relatively small job in between two big ones. We could either let them do it then or wait several more weeks - oh and let me just mention it was over the Memorial Day holiday so swimming season in Houston was already in full swing. We took a huge leap of faith and gave them the green light to do the construction while we were gone. I know what you're thinking and believe me I've come home to some real big surprises that previous contractors have left for me, but none were as happy as the surprise Lone Star Deck left for us. To our delight, we came home to a beautifully finished deck that was just what we wanted. They were not the least expensive bid we got but we think they were worth it. We are very happy with our TREX spa deck surround from Tommy Hollis and Lone Star Deck."
