"I have been living in my Plano home for about 2 years now and my fence was old enough that I decided to replace it. In traveling through the neighborhood, some of the best built fences had a “Barletta Construction” nameplate. So I decided to give them a call and and spoken with Julio - the owner. Julio was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. When he came to the house to measure the fence, he reviewed every detail and made meticulous notes. He was prompt about getting a detailed quote back to me and was extremely easy to work with. The price was in line with my budget expectations based on the quality of the fences I have seen - Not the bottom price estimate, but the by far the best value in terms of quality. His crew came out to the house as scheduled and did an excellent job. They installed an 8’ fence that replaced an old 6’ fence along with correcting any of the foundational issues from the old fence. What we were left with is exceptional!! This truly transformed our backyard and gives us additional privacy, plus an upgrade to the aesthetic. "We needed a short fence around our pool to protect the grandchildren.  We had done an extensive internet search and had two other companies visit and offer bids.  Just before signing with one of these other companies, we came across a video that showed some problems that a homeowner had experienced with some brands or types of fencing.  The video was VERY convincing and appeared genuine.  (However, we still do not know whether the video was planted by competitors.)  Protect-A-Child fence company was mentioned positively. We called the 800 number and were directed to the local (DFW) office. The owner/ installer came to our house, showed us the product, took measurements, discussed options and prepared an estimate.  After some additional internet searches for reviews, we agreed to go ahead despite the higher price (20%). The fence was installed on the date promised over the course of 3 - 4 hours. There were no surprises. The owner / installer checked with us frequently when decisions had to be made. The price was as agreed.  Clean-up was done and the fence looks very good. <br />"

"Everything went great.   Met with Aaron who promptly provided an estimate.   He also dropped off a couple of stain samples for me to select my final choice of new stain that would be applied to the fence.   We scheduled a time to begin the work and within 2-3 days the job was complete.   Aaron took extra time to adjust the fence to ensure that the stain did not come in contact with the cement footing.   Aaron and his team did a great job and especially appreciated the extra care taken to ensure the stain spray did not get all over the cement, gate handle, etc.    Very happy with the services and the fence looks great!   Overall excellent experience! <br />"

"Throughout all phases of the project they were very accessible for communication and responsive to our questions. They listened to our ideas and ultimately came up with a much better design for our space than we had in mind. When the new spa was finally installed a few months later (everything takes longer than you think it will) we called to get on Lone Star's schedule for the deck construction. We were scheduled to be away from home when they had an opening for our relatively small job in between two big ones. We could either let them do it then or wait several more weeks - oh and let me just mention it was over the Memorial Day holiday so swimming season in Houston was already in full swing. We took a huge leap of faith and gave them the green light to do the construction while we were gone.
