"We had a huge tree fall on our fence after a storm. A-Plus Designs was ready and available to come out and clean it up for us. They did a fantastic job and did not over charge us like other companies were trying to do when we called. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for tree removal service or any other service. Timely, professional, reasonably priced, great work!!"

"Dean brought extra help and lots of plywood to avoid rutting the yard. First tree went well. The second tree top fell in the wrong place and did minor damage. I had watched Dean give instructions to his men before the tree topping, and the guy at the top screwed up. I got with Dean and settled on damage compensation.

Other minor problems: They didn't put plywood under the truck exhaust and browned one big patch of grass . . . it will come back quickly. Dean drove off the plywood late in the day . . . he was impatient. He dug a 10-foot rut. The guys filled the rut with debris and dirt, but the damage was really unnecessary . . . he had the plywood right there.

I gave Dean good grades in this review. He is no worse, and no better, than most services, but his price is lower."

"I got lucky when I called Edwin Kennedy of Tiger Tree Service. I can't remember how I found his name but I called him last summer to give me an estimate on removing a 70-foot sweet gum in my front yard. His estimate was lower than the other two I had so I hired him. Within a few days, he came and removed the tree and ground the stump. Some big roots had destroyed part of my sidewalk so he removed those, too. The truck he used made some ruts in the yard because the ground was wet so Edwin put some fill dirt in them and offered to remove another tree, a river birch leaning over our garage, for a good price. I finally decided to remove this tree and Edwin came back yesterday and did it. I had accepted his offer to remove another tree for an additional amount but when he arrived, I changed my mind about the second tree. Edwin was very gracious and removed the one tree for the agreed price.
He is very professional and courteous and goes out of his way to have a satisfied customer. His maintains his equipment in good shape. I highly recommend him.

"I have chosen this company in spite of the fact that they are more expensive than another company who already have very good ratings on Angie's List, because  of my sympathy with young entrepreneurs and newly started companies. This time, however, I think that I made a mistake. First of all, they did not show up on the day of the appointment. After I called, I was told that someone was sick, so they could not make it. Getting sick could happen to anyone, but they could have called me so that I did not have to waste the whole morning. When they came on the re-scheduled day, they were on time. The workers were friendly and polite. Overall, they did the trimming reasonably well. On one part, however, they did not cut some dead branches. When the work was "finished", I pointed out this fact. They promised to come back at the end of that day, or the day after at latest. Now, after two weeks and three phone calls and the same number of broken promises , the dead branches are still there."
