"My backyard had a failing timber wall that the previous owner had propped up with posts, and had allowed it to lean into rapidly deteriorating shed. Jim's crew came in, removed the shed and timber wall, and also removed an intact but inadequate stone wall extending from the backyard to the street, a total distance of around 40 feet. He replaced that entire length with a beautiful split-faced masonry wall and poured a new concrete walkway to improve access to the backyard. Jim is the ultimate professional. He takes great pride in his work, loves to talk masonry and answer questions about the project, and is very transparent about pricing. The walkway was an add-on to the original project scope due to some unexpected circumstances uncovered during excavation, but he explained this at length and took photos so I could see why the additional work was required. "It went flawlessly. The three guys arrived on time and made fast work of disassembling our granite slab front steps, by hand. They created a new reinforced base with crushed stone and reassembled the slabs to a new level surface. They patched two concrete retaining walls. Then the attacked the 37-year dirt build-up on our large concrete patio. They cut and filled a few large cracks and pressure washed the surface so that it now looks like a completely different patio. I could not be happier with the completed results of these three too-hard-for-us projects. Excellent work by three very hardworking professionals!"

"Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"
