"When Gaby Sent me his work proposal by text message I found myself wondering whether he was reliable or legitimate. However, I hired him to replace my stairway railing because his reviews were so good. I'm very glad I did. This guy is a real pro. It is fascinating to watch him work. He is very quick but also very precise. Obviously knows what he is doing. His work was excellent. The price was certainly fair. I also added on for or five small jobs inside the house such as repairing doors, etc., and he added these onto the job without any hassle. It was a pleasure working with him. I certainly would hire him again and consider him a great resource for my future carpentry needs."

"Hired Nick and team to rip up the aging pressure treated deck boards and railings with TiberTech Edge boards and Fiberon PVC railings. Also included replacing lattice beneath deck with white PVC. Came by same day for quote and was able to start work a few days after accepting request. Workers on site and on time. Crew broke down railings, posts and treads. Replaced risers, plastic parts and reassembled. Great work. Left site clean when finished."

"TJ installed three exterior doors in the house I recently moved to. We were suspicious of a lot of rot under the doors, especially the large front door, and wanted to make sure new doors were not just installed, but the entire framing repaired and replaced before new doors went in. TJ measured everything before his estimate (which was highly detailed and accurate) and came back to confirm measurements before ordering materials. He completed the work in the exact timeline he had given us, and was great at communicating over text and phone calls. He found and repaired the rot under the front door, and then repaired and installed two normal sized exterior doors, including our basement door which was a mess to begin with. TJ also had to deal with some not-so-great flooring installation from the previous owners, and he made it work. The floor looks great, you could never tell there was a 3ft by 5ft section removed and repaired just a day before. With TJ's help, we were able to custom order the exact door style we wanted, and he helped us with some design and materials choices. The house has been given an incredible facelift, and I feel so much better knowing the doors are safe and sturdy. TJ was extremely courteous and thoughtful in his work. He left the work area and property looking immaculate each day he worked with us. He was also very conscientious with our dog, which I appreciated. I have received massive compliments on all the doors, and will be working with TJ again for our deck this summer. We signed the contract with confidence and excitement because TJ's results are very professional and will certainly last a lifetime."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"One of the garage doors was having significant "sticking" problems. I have been struggling with this issue for 7 months since moving into this house. George identified the problem quickly and resolved. After resolving this issue George adjusted my springs for more balanced tension, replaced the metal rollers with quieter nylon rollers, and lubricated both doors.

"We've had a lot of renovation work done on our house over the last several years, and Superior Kitchens And Baths was the best company that we've worked with overall. Jane, Brandon, and their entire crew and subcontractors were all great to work with. They were very responsive, hard working, professional, stuck closely to their schedules, and did high quality work across the board. Additionally, Jane, Brandon, and Dustin are genuinely nice people that were great to get to know and interact with throughout the effort. From the start, Jane and Brandon came up with creative solutions to allow us to get everything we wanted in the renovation, and figured out potential pitfalls and workarounds before the work even started. They were great with helping us decide on overall designs and individual items throughout the work. They put together a thorough breakdown of costs for their proposal that they tracked throughout the effort, as well as a schedule that they stuck closely to.
