"We live in a house that has a flat roof. It's also down a hill so you look down at my roof as you approachmy home. That's why the appearance is so important to us. I had several "flat roof experts" come look at the job and walk away. Bill (the son) didn't even blink. He immediately gave us the confidence needed to know these guys are the real deal. They took two layers of tar & gravel roof off my house and installed a high tech membrane and insulation. They had to drop the old roof down to the ground then hump it up the stairs into the dumpster. They came with 9 guys, Antonio was the crew chief. The nicest guys. And when they left, my property looked clean, without a single shrub or flower out of place. And the new roof is beautiful. Bill (the father) was here to supervise and really added to our confidence and satisfaction. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys deserve the shout out."

"We used ACJ , Remodling to replace our roof. Our house is three levels and approximately 2,000 square feet. We required having the existing roof removed down to the furring strips, and replacing it with plywood and shingles. Additionally, we had the roof on our extension converted from a flat roof to a pitched roof with traditional gutters. To top things off, this job began just a weeks before Christmas. This was not a small job. The crew at ACJ, Remodling were professional and courteous. They kept the disruption to our lives to a minimum and when the project was completed we were left with a beautiful new roof and new gutters. Winter is an extremely difficult time to do this kind of work but they managed to work in difficult weather conditions, keeping the length of the job to the fewest number of days possible. "This firehouse could not close its apparatus bays while the roof was being replaced. The existing modified-bitumen roof was more than 20 years old, with cracked flashing, worn cap sheet, and a soft area near the main drain. Test openings confirmed that the insulation around that drain was wet, making another coating or recovery system a poor long-term choice. Removal started at the rear of the building, away from the active bay doors. Each section was stripped, inspected, insulated, and made watertight before the crew moved forward. The steel deck was generally solid, although one corroded area near the drain required replacement. New tapered insulation improved drainage, followed by a cover board and two-ply SBS modified-bitumen system. Deliveries were scheduled so trucks never blocked emergency vehicles. If the station received a call while material was being moved, the path in front of the bays was cleared immediately."

"Installation Date: Late August 2022 The roof installation and gutters were installed and look great. I DO NOT like what they did with the flashing on my chimney. It looked cheap, put together in haste, and with really bad and cheap materials. I had to call and argue with a representative to explain to him that the job they did on the chimney was horrible and that it had to be corrected. He tried to convince me it was the way it's done. I then showed him my neighbors house who had their roof done by another company. Power Home charges a premium and it didn't seem like they were very invested in the job they were doing. Additionally, the trash bin that was delivered was way to small and all the trash didn't fit. As a consequence, they left trash in front on my house and on my property for weeks after. I had to call a second time and resort to begging to get them to come by to pick up the trash. Overall, I feel like they didn't respect the job they were doing, the final touches were horrible, and they didn't treat my home with love or respect (as if it were their own home). Also, there is now a huge gap between the siding and the new roofing material. I fee they should have found and budgeted for a solution for that issue in the form of a bit of siding or flashing to minimize that gap. Now water and critters will get in through that gap. Overall, if I could do it again, I would defiantly NOT chose Power Home Remodeling. I DO NOT recommend them."

Dino had excellent communication and the job was completed quickly and professionally. He was able to fix my roof before hurricane Ida hit and saved my building from a total loss. Due to his experience, I wound up saving a ton of money. My regular contractor thought the roof needed to be replaced, but Dino said it only needed a restoration and wound up saving me thousands and guaranteed his work.
