Small jobs welcome

"Needed electric service run from the breaker panel in my house to a newly installed workshop in back of my house. They ran the service and installed a sub-panel, 6 outlets, 3 overhead junction boxes, and 2 junction boxes for outdoor lighting. They gave me a good quote and did the installation in 1 day. Arrived when they said they would and performed quality work. Very pleased with the installation. I would definitely hire these guys again."

"I’ve been using David Gray plumbing since the early 90’s. 3 repipes. Misc plumbing and pipe clean outs. Always had quick service calls, same morning or by end of day. Always seemed the value was worth the cost. However, something has changed. Had two service calls last week. Both I feel were way over priced. My loyalty to David Gray Plumbing is lost. Never felt I needed to read other’s reviews. But while penning this review, I see an overwhelming number of customers are having the same impression. They have become too expensive to even call for future service. I’ll find a smaller plumbing company to finish installing my bathroom fixtures I got in today."

"I have used Howard twice and both times it was a good experience. They are very good and know what they are doing. The owner is office person and he supervises work, so I find email is the best method to contact. If I send him an email, he will normally respond when he gets back to the office or the next day."

"All I can say is WOW! Brandon is something else, his quality, attention to detail and knowledge is the best I have seen. I have had numerous electricians over the years to assist in various things and I have never had someone like Brandon. The guy knows exactly what he is doing and takes pride in his work. PRIDE in his work something you just don't see anymore. Brandon had to help me in my new home fix all the things that the original electricians messed up. Brandon also assisted me in my old home getting everything up to regulation and making sure everything was not only safe but looked good. Pricing is more than reasonable considering the quality of work you are getting. Brandon is in no rush to just complete the job to run to the next one. Brandon is efficient and gets the job done quickly but he does not rush or short change you. If anything he works with you to make sure you are getting the most value. I will be using Brandon in the future to install an electric vehicle charger and a whole house generator. This guy isn't just capable of small jobs he can DO IT ALL. Thanks again Brandon, I really can't say enough good things about the quality of your work and the great person you are."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Saint Augustine, FL

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
