"John and his wife (Connie) came out 2 weeks later to replace my electrical panel and replace all of my lights in my kitchen and family room. The work they did was superb! John showed me that the panel was so old that it was actually burning/melting. He was also kind enough to talk with the company who replaced my countertops to explain that the work they did, loosened wires in my kitchen (which they claimed was impossible). Their work was outstanding and they explained everything that they were doing and why they were doing it. I have already recommended John to two of my neighbors who are looking to do home renovations. He and his wife Connie are amazing! A must hire."

"The electrician who came out was great--punctual, professional, worked efficiently, methodically, and was extremely thorough.  The kitchen light was fixed very quickly.  The porch light issue took quite a while to figure out, and in the process, he went through basically our whole electrical system (discovered a junction box had been covered up when the porch room had been divided at some point in the nebulous past); he corrected the issue with minimal damage to the wall.  Very pleased with the work, very fair price considering the amount of time/effort it took to diagnose.  Really appreciate the prompt invoicing via email, too--very convenient.  "

"We needed to upgrade our outdoor lighting scheme from Home Depot/Menards fixtures to a better quality installation. Touchstone replaced all of our underground wiring and fixtures. We also upgraded to the less costly bulbs that cost a little more upfront but use far less electricity over a much longer life span. Several bulbs were defective and suffered a premature demise, but Touchstone promptly returned to replace them with no additional costs. Since that time they have come out several times to add additional fixtures to expand our lighting plan. Always friendly and timely, I would not consider anyone else for our outdoor lighting needs."

"<p>I've used Jim's services in the past and I will always call Total Electric when I need an electrician.  I've also recommended him to friends who were equally pleased with his work.  </p> <p>For this particular project, I had purchased 5 new exterior lights.  I wanted to install them before the holidays so that our guests would have a well lit path.  Jim was able to add us to his schedule very quickly and was extremely accommodating..  </p> <p>I also wanted to install GFI outlets in our kitchen and bathrooms.  Jim explained that although our outlets didn't have test and reset buttons, they were on a GFI circuit and didn't need replacing.  That speaks to his honesty.  Other electricians might have inflated the bill by doing unnecessary work, but you can trust Jim.</p> <p>He did a fabulous job and was very professional.  I also feel that his prices are quite reasonable.  I highly endorse Total Electric.</p> <br />"
