"We are repeat customers of JB Wood Floors and highly recommend John’s company for anyone wanting beautiful wood floors. Our oak plank floor needed a fresh sand and finish. John was very responsive with answers to questions as well as getting back to me with an initial quote. He was flexible with our timing as well. We appreciated being able to choose our color and finish on day 1; John took the time to understand what we wanted our end result to be and gave us guidance on colors based on our home colors. We wanted to avoid having the wood turn a honey color to avoid having it look like the cabinets. Ultimately we chose a clear, water-based matte finish to bring out the beauty in each individual board. The drying time and the lack of odor with water-based products was most appealing to us. We also contracted with John to replace the “shoe” or quarter-round trim around our cabinets and his carpenter was a master. The dust containment was excellent during the job. John and his team stayed on schedule (actually, they were faster than we thought) and there was very little cleanup for us. Our floor looks amazing again (it’s a 25-year-old floor)."
