"Two of our smartest friends - one in Minneapolis, -- the other in St. Paul, used All Energy Solar for their solar panels for their electric systems . So we talked with them about their experience and it was so positive we went with All Energy. Great communication, great project management. We wanted to do solar to offset a new air conditioning system. All Energy worked with Xcel when we had a disagreement with the power company about how much capacity we would need. Another reviewer called the process 'seamless' and that's how it felt for us too. Have recommended All Energy Solar to friends."

"Our 9-year-old water heater quit working last night. The thermocouple had failed and needed to be replaced; not a job for an amateur. I called Breski Plumbing at 8:30pm and left a message, and followed up with an email providing the make and model and a description of the problem. Jeremy returned my call first thing this morning, and Ryan came out with the right parts and had the problem fixed and the water heater working again by 10am. They're responsive, fast, courteous, and charge a reasonable price for excellent service. What more can you ask for?"

"Hello Tony, So we had xxxxxxxx come out and the following was discussed: 1. Because of the design of our home with the foyer and existing 2 levels what we “essentially” have is a two zone system. 2. If Countryside removes the zone system and dampeners we will have no heat in our lower level so they advise against that. 3. There was a way to give us a two zone system however because Countryside chose the layout the way they did there is no option to do anything different at this point. Short of a whole new system at the going rate of ~ $7000 (You have been paid $7505. Removing anything will lead us with just what we started with which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. 4. Countryside has provided us a “quote” and a final bill. There is no signed contract, no change order, no email agreement to do any additional work other than the quote and the crossed out “upgrade” that the quote identifies and Tony was told of specifically at the final “pre work” meeting. 5. We are starting drywall 01/28 and Doug and Joanne Hill are considering $7505 (paid) the total amount due. Please note this amount is ~ 20% more than the quoted amount. Again, there is no signed contract, no pre park scope agreement, no change order or any other conversation signaling to the homeowners the cost would be more the the originally quoted amount of $6505. 6. The homeowners also have two quotes that the desired two zone was possible and that due to the design of our home, essentially what we have. Except due to Countryside opting to add zoning system the two zone system can not be re routed any other way. 7. Doug and Joanne Hill has asked for the Owner to contact for over a week, this has been done via the Sales guy Tony, posted on the Complaint/review site, and a Better business Bureau has been filed over a week with No response from countryside. Given that all this has been done we are considering our relationship complete. Doug and joanne hill have paid Countryside in FULL (20% over quoted amount) and 10% over market value for work complete as evidence by report from Center-point home Services. Addendum 8. Doug and joanne previously offered to split the ~3300 upgrade homeowners did not agree to - leaving countryside to absorb 1505 and the homeowners to pay 1505. Given the assessment from xxxxxxxxxx this offer has been withdrawn! I will forward this to the owner and the BBB Done !"

FAQs for solar panel installation projects in Saint-Paul, MN

If you experience frequent power outages, want to become more energy independent, or aim to reduce your reliance on the grid, investing in a solar battery system can be worthwhile. With a solar battery, you'll have backup power day or night, even if the local grid fails. However, to power larger appliances or ensure you have energy for longer periods, you'll need to invest in multiple batteries. While the upfront cost is higher, many homeowners find the added peace of mind to be well worth the investment.

Solar battery storage capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours, which directly indicates the amount of energy the battery can store. This measurement determines how long essential appliances will continue operating during an outage. A clear understanding of capacity helps in planning the overall system size to ensure effective backup power and to maintain optimal performance even as the battery ages.

Determining the correct size for your solar battery system requires evaluating your monthly energy usage. Start by reviewing your utility bills to identify your average consumption, and then match the battery’s kilowatt-hour rating to cover essential loads. Consulting with a solar professional ensures that the system is sized to deliver continuous backup power, meeting both immediate and future energy needs.

A solar battery's lifespan ranges from five to 15 years, and its durability is affected by battery quality, charging frequency, and environmental conditions. Regular maintenance and proper usage are key to maximizing longevity. Monitoring your system, following manufacturer guidelines, and scheduling routine inspections all help ensure that your battery performs reliably throughout its service life.
