"LONG STORY SHORT: I would 1000000% recommend Pools by Jordan. THE LONG STORY: In 2015, my husband and I installed a pool from a different company. We had problem after problem after problem. Our original timeline of eight weeks turned into five months. Every minor issue turned into a big production. the entire process was a nightmare. Flash forward to October 2019 – my husband and I moved into a new home and needed a pool. I found Pools by Jordan on Angie’s List.  I contacted their company and several others inquiring about a new pool for our new home. I spoke with Norm and he immediately scheduled our initial consultation. We met with Jordan a week later and he designed our pool on the spot, and kept us realistic and grounded with our dream and our budget in mind. The estimated completion timeline was six weeks. I met with the other companies and after their initial consultations, their completion timelines were 8 to 10 weeks, over budget, and they were unable to begin our jobs for four months. I never heard back from either company, however Norm at Pools by Jordan reached out to see if we had any questions or concerns. Their excellent customer service made it an easy decision for us to decide to go with Pools by Jordan. Within a week of signing our contract they broke ground on our pool. There were minor issues with our yard that Jordan and his crew addressed in a timely manner and still remained within our budget. They were right on time with our timeline (even over TWO holidays!) and provided all services that we needed throughout the entire process, from permitting to maintaining/regulating our pool after installation. Jordan and Norm are a terrific team and were always available for any questions or concerns that we had. I have now referred multiple families to Pools by Jordan and I hope you make the same great decision we made and choose them to do your pool too! "I hired Elite Home Paint to repaint my cabinets. Unfortunately my cabinet doors were in very bad shape, as they were partially sanded down and also had paint stripper poorly applied. As I'm a very black and white person, I reached out to Ariel and sent him photos of the doors, and he said he could do the service. When he got at my house with his crew, they saw the doors, and the service was still confirmed to be possible, even though the quality of the doors were bad. They got to it, and when I got home from work that morning (I work nights, so didn’t see the job completed until the next day), I was very disappointed. They didn’t completely sand down the doors or drawers, so all the marks that were on the units showed up on the paint, very poorly. When I contacted Ariel, he blamed the parts on being damaged and that no one would have done the service for the price he did. I explained to him that at no moment, he told me that the condition would have impacted the end product, as I thought he would properly sand and DIDN’T! As I continued to inspect the unit, I found multiple spots with paint drips, parts completely poorly painted, still white (I painted my cabinets black btw). I tried contacting Ariel to try to settle this peacefully and he basically told me the job was done, and BLOCKED my phone number (I know this because when I call it goes directly to voice mail, and when I use a friends phone, he picked up. Sent a msg through Facebook as well and completely ignored. I would leave it alone if it were just the spots of the poor sanding, but all the white spots is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and poor service, definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this company."
