"Completely useless visit. I requested a water softener repair. The technician tested the water and discovered that it was hard (I knew this already because the water softener wasn't working). He pushed buttons on the control valve of the water softener and discovered that it wasn't working (I already knew this). They couldn't repair the water softener because it wasn't "their" equipment (brand and model was noted in the repair request, so they presumably already knew they wouldn't be able to repair, but came anyway). The technician volunteered to send a plumber and a sales consultant. Don't waste your $98 on Aquarius. This company is a complete scam. "

"Andy and his crew were fast and efficient. They promptly returned our call and were able to complete the project the next day. Will be calling them again for more projects around the house."

"Everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Starting with Shelly to make the appointment as well as arranging for the inspection, to Brandon giving a detailed and fair estimate, to Taylor and Nick, the electricians. Their work was efficient and done correctly, we passed the inspection. We have already passed their name on to our friends. We will definitely use them again if/when the need arises. We highly recommend them. "

Small jobs welcome

"We called this company because several basement outlets suddenly lost power and we could not locate the GFCI outlet ourselves. The technician came out, located the GFCI, reset it, and that was the only work performed. No repairs, no parts replaced, and no additional troubleshooting. We were then charged $285 for this, which was shocking given the simplicity and length of the visit. At no point before starting did the technician explain the pricing or get our approval for the cost. Only after questioning the charge did he lower it to $235, which is still extremely excessive for a task that took just a few minutes. This felt misleading and predatory. If pricing had been disclosed upfront, we would not have agreed to the service. Be very cautious and insist on clear pricing before any work begins."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Saint Cloud, MN

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
