"It began with my initial call to the company for a quote. They immediately scheduled for a representative, Bob Lundy to come to my house for a quote. He was so knowledge and helpful. All Island was on schedule with their procedure for the installation of the fence and scheduled a delivery and installation. We have a beautiful addition to our existing fence and I couldn't be more pleased."

"Job went well. The guy's arrived early and stayed late. They finished installing the fence in one day, including two gates. Paid extra to have brush/bushes removed from the property line before the install. Had the property line surveyed and staked out before Amendolas got here. They did well with following the property line on two out of the three sides. On the third side I feel that the fence could have been installed closer to the property line!! It's been about 6 months, so far so good. We've gone through a couple storms and a blizzard and haven't had any issues with the fence. Haven't had to deal with customer service yet. <br />"

"I felt a little misled by the salesperson, who initially said the company likes to keep projects no more than 2-3 weeks out. I was impressed! Fence companies are known to take a while to install fences. When I eventually signed the contract and placed the deposit, the salesperson said they were 4-5 weeks out. OK—that sounds more like it, I thought. About a week later the Victorian Fence office called to schedule the installation for 6 weeks in the future. That was a little disappointing but still seemed within a normal range for fence companies. After waiting those 6 weeks, Victorian called late the day before the scheduled installation to say they couldn’t do it because they didn’t get the wood in. That was disappointing! They said they’d call the next day with an update, but after waiting several days, I had to call. The woman on the phone offered one explanation, that customers were complaining about their new wood fences being “wet” (which I think means waterlogged?), and then the owner called back and said there was just a shortage—the shipments weren’t coming in from the supplier. He was very nice and explained the situation as best he could. He seemed very above board. He also said they would call with an update. A week later after no updates, I called him, and the fence was installed the next day without any problems. What’s also weird is that twice I asked about having additional fencing installed, because our neighbors wanted 10 feet and a gate to match ours. I left a message with the salesperson and talked to the owner about it, but nothing happened. I understand if an existing order can’t be changed, or if there’s not enough product to install extra, but we were trying to spend more money! At least follow up on a request we made twice. We are happy with our new cedar fence, but I can’t say I’d recommend others use this company."
