"We hired Folie Roofing from Waseca to replace the roof on our 120-year-old farmhouse. The house had some complicated areas that had been problematic in the past, and I wanted to be sure to get a crew that was conscientious, experienced and knowledgeable. I was assured that we’d get the crew we needed which turned out to be the Guraro crew headed by Jim Folie. I’ve a history with roofers having had three roofs replaced over the years, and not all have been great; one actually lied to my face about some work that was on-going that eventually turned out to be a problem. As a result, I’m not an easy customer: I know about roofs, what it takes to do the job right, and I make this very clear from the beginning. Once I met Jim, I was confident that all would be well. And it was. From making sure the shingles were delivered to an exact spot on the lawn, to the last piece of debris removed, Jim was right there taking care of everything and making sure I was happy. "The Roof Guys / Jamey and Eric These guys are the full package!!! First off, I really don’t like dealing with contractors due to some terrible experiences I’ve had. The Roof Guys have restored my faith in both contractors and businessmen. Jamey came out the same day we called, they assessed the damage and the next day had emergency flashing installed at no charge to prevent further weather damage. They always answered or returned our calls, were always on time, and were polite and extremely professional. Everything was completed in two weeks from when we called them but they didn’t just simply walk away but remained a helpful and professional resource with our siding and gutter damage. They even helped with the siding insurance adjuster. They sold a beautiful product that improved the overall appearance of our home, Owens Corning Duration Shingles. "I did LOT's of reserch on roofing issues, and had several contractors bid on this roof.  I got connected with Tom at PPC by referal from my neighbor, who is a general contractor himself. <br /> <br /> Tom was one of the lowest bids, but not the lowest.  However, I felt FAR more comfortable with Tom after talking extensively with him about the issues at my specific house than any of the lower or equal bids.  Tom awnsered many questions from me, and showed he really knew what he was talking about.  He also made a few very good suggestions.  I specified certain specific materials, and he was happy to accomidate my requests.  Even on the materials I did not specify brand/model, they used high quality stuff (ridge vent, drip edge, valley flashing, etc). <br /> <br /> The crew came out and did a very nice job.  After it was done, I had one very minor complaint: a  piece of drip edge was sticking ot about 1/2" due to a old trim nail that had popped out).  It was a purely cosmetic issue that most people I'm sure would have never noticed, but as soon as I let Tom know, he came out and fixed it. <br /> <br /> My new roof looks great, and based on the referal from my contractor neighbor and my personal interaction with Tom, I am confident that Personal Pride will stand by their work.  If any of my friends or family need a new roof, I will certainly be recommending Personal Pride without reservation."
