"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"Ackerman Exteriors replaced the 45-year-old wood siding on a custom rural house, built in 1980, with vinyl siding. Included in the job were some window and door replacements, gutter installs, and other improvements to the house to address issues I had made note of over a decade of ownership. The guys did great work. The house is immeasurably better in every way, and the updates proved their worth this winter. During the lead-up and during the work, they listened to concerns and ideas, and made actionable proposals in response. After the project was finished, they followed up to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. There were schedule slippages and material delivery delays, which is all par for the course, especially in 2025. They were communicative about the delays, and able to reorder the work accordingly. It was a big project and they handled it well. I would give Ackerman Exteriors my highest recommendation."

"Should you need a great contractor? My husband and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with Pro Warrior Painting and Construction. Living in Newburyport our large wooden deck had seen it’s day and we knew the time had come to completely replace it. Yann the owner, from day one was personable, professional, prompt and a perfectionist. He and his crew went out of their way to get our deck done within budget and in a timely manner. We never felt forced or pressured into making decisions, but were encouraged to make decisions together for this project. Yann’s work ethic really was above and beyond what we expected. It was a tough work with demo and complete rebuild, but everyone on his crew had a very positive attitude and worked very hard until all of the work was done! The materials actually arrived sooner than expected, and they started work early (when has that ever happened?). The crew demolished my old 8'x18' deck and replaced it with a new, code-compliant deck in 4 business days. They did excellent work and kept me up to date on progress the whole time.
