Customers say: Quality work

"Carlos was awesome and did 90% of the work. Matt did not give me the written estimate as promised but did leave a voicemail with under $1700 which he then raised to $2000 but I refused to pay. He bought too much material and took it to return but I do not think I got credited for it. I still have not received a final invoice even though the work was finished in May. DO NOT PAY THIS MAN WITHOUT A FINAL INVOICE. I trusted that he was honest but now I am wondering if that is why I am not getting the final invoice with copies of the receipts like he promised. I did end up paying $1750 for the job and I am now regretting it."

"Precision Dirt Works recently completed a second major project on my property and I canâ t say enough good things about them! Their attention to detail, commitment to quality, and genuine care for their customers is unmatched. "I could not be more pleased with Adrian than I am. He was very professional, quick to respond to give me an estimate which was very fair. He showed up when promised & completed a very large project in a shockingly short period of time. It is hard to find good people like this in today's world. I will be calling on his services again as well as telling all my friends about him."

Customers say: True professional

"I am definitely old school and take pride in an extremely clean environment. As I am getting much older now it has gotten much harder to keep up with and maintain my own expectations. I found Bonnie (Dust B Gone) through her many outstanding reviews and decided to give her a try. I was blown away by the meticulous pride she carries in the work she does, her attention to detail blew me away. I am not an easy person to please when it comes to the cleanliness of my home I've always felt nobody can clean my house better than I can, well guess what, I was wrong. Bonnie you are a keeper. And to anyone else out there looking for someone to clean their home and do a fantastic job you don't need to search any further Bonnie is your girl. "

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Salem, OR

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
