"They were friendly, efficient and did a fantastic job on replacing/repairing our aging chimney. They replaced the flashing which was previously installed incorrectly. The new chimney cover works great and keeps the birds out. Excellent job on the clean up as well. Highly recommended."

"Lived in our house for 20 years and found out our fireplace needed lots of work. Replaced all bricks in the fireplace inside the house and the chimney needed new mortar, weather proofing and a new damper. Surprised how much disrepair our chimney was in and Murphys was very professional and extremely honest with what needed to be done. Told us what we should do for maintenance in the future to keep our fireplace in good shape. Only negative is response on calling back for initial bid. Once work was started they were very responsive."

In addition to promptly contacting me after an Angie’s List inquiry, they followed up within 48 hours to see if I had any additional questions. My husband and I were also impressed with the fairness of their quotes and the quality of their work. We initially hired them for a chimney cleaning but also ended up hiring them to repair/restore interior and exterior issues with our chimney. I would recommend the Soot Slayer team to anyone needing their quality services!!"

"1) bent existing backdoor awning. Had to be replaced.
2) layed tarps/plywood on top of flower beds killing flowers underneath.
3) knocked over water bottle in attic making a water stain on bedroom ceiling.
4) left scraps on attic floor.
5)installed roof vents over area that didn't have a hole for the vent.
Note: they did resolve most problems and adjusted price for damages, but the management should have better control over the work performed. They constantly complained on how much Angie's List was getting from the job!
