He took the cost of the roof.  It thought the discount greatly exceeded the cost of the damage. I thought the work, and his handling of the problem was extremely professional. We also had a small leak during a major storm, and he showed up immediately to fix it."

He inspected the roof and his assessment which differed a bit from the other company seemed reliable and informed by experience. I received an estimate the next day and he gave me a time frame for when he could come over and do the work. His communication was great, he came as scheduled and did a great job completing the work. Unlike other companies who may try and get you to do more major roof repair or replacement in the short run, he took a more long term customer relationship (and referral) view and wasn't going to try and sell me something I didn't need.
