They did an excellent job. We were greatly pleased which is another reason we called this company to complete the back fence. <br />"

I called so many companies in the El Paso area for quotes, I actually made a spreadsheet to keep up with everyone. Out of the forty or so companies I called, A-1 had the best warranty and was in my budget. They were the second most inexpensive company. I didn't go with the cheapest because they didn't offer a warranty and wanted to use cheap materials. <br /> <br /> The owner came out, took measurements and pictures, and sat down with me to hear what I was looking for exactly. We met a second time and he drew up a sketch of the gate, the materials used, how it will be built, and the cost. He took into account where I lived, what kind of weather I have, what the ground is like at my house, and how often the gates will be used to determine what materials to use and how to design and then build it. They don't buy the gates like this, they make the gates themselves. During installation, a neighbor one street over noticed them and asked Victor to come look at his house when he was done with mine. I walked by that house yesterday and his gates are a different design, but just as beautiful. <br /> <br /> Note: A-1 also does landscaping and concrete work. <br />"

"The job was completed in a timely manner, he was always professional and courteous, materials were removed and clean up was satisfactory. There are areas on the hallway walls where texture was not smoothed out and the paint job was poor in certain areas of our home. Overall we were satisfied yet we wouldn't use this company again. I expect a job to be done well and to where I don't need to redo any part of it. If you pay attention to detail consider another company. <br />"

After two week the called me and told me the door was complete and wanted to know if they could come by and instal it . They were there that afternoon. "Called around a little for someone to come in and do some updates and a few odds and ends that I needed to get done for some time. We called and found out that this very nice gentleman lived nearby and he was very pleasant to speak with on the phone. He came out the next day and gave me a very fair price for a good load of work. The owner did all the work himself. He brought in his cleaning crew to clean up and they did the whole house. It was amazing. Well worth every penny. They will be doing my full kitchen and bathroom remodel in the near future. <br />"
