"We are very pleased with our whole house remodel performed by our contractor, Rick Simmons of Coastline Construction. We received four bids from various contractors which were all competitive. We chose Rick for various reasons including that he was easy to communicate with and that he uses his own very skilled employees, no subcontractors. We completely remodeled the kitchen, the main and secondary bathroom, laundry room and installed new flooring throughout that required grinding and leveling the concrete slab. Every wall and ceiling was retextured and painted. It was a HUGE job. Rick is a hands-on contractor who stopped by the house 3-4 times a week (sometimes everyday!). Rick kept us up to date on scheduling and every addition we made to the scope of work was clearly documented in change orders that we discussed with him. We had a good idea of what we wanted design-wise and the end result reflects that vision."

"From drab to fabulous! Eco home Builders did a fantastic job on my main bathroom remodel. I'm a Real Estate Broker and have gone through countless remodels and contractors over the past two decades. Eden did a wonderful job managing the project. Always communicating and being available through the whole project was a huge plus. The contractors did an outstanding job and really paid attention to detail. A lot of large tile pieces went into this project, and I was in very impressed with their skill. We were also impressed with their cabinet maker who did a great job basically building a beautiful piece of art. The project basically went off without a flaw on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Eco Home Builders to anyone thinking of doing any sort of remodel project, I rarely give reviews, but in this case, I felt it was necessary to give kudos that are well deserved. "Would not recommend them to anyone. We had the worst experience with these guys. Scope of project: kitchen complete remodel, replacing carpet flooring with vinyl tile flooring , redo electrical for kitchen area only cost: 100K+ what went to plan: - kitchen demo - made one nice dry wall - setting up and framing of the kitchen area what went wrong: - communication/scheduling : we would never be told ahead of time when work was being done. Sometimes there would be days stretches where no one showed up and then guys would show up randomly on a Sunday morning. At the start of the project we told them we were going to move into the back half of the house, so just have that clean. We moved into trash and debris everywhere. They also saw a vinyl strap , strapped to our tree, tied to our neighbor's fence (it was there keeping the fence up as the tree was leaning into the neighbors fence). In their brilliance, they decided to cut the strap and use it for themselves. How did we know? we found it on our roof, used to tie some electrical conduit. Who the heck does that?! We should've cut ties at that point, it was just the start...if we only knew. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt...but things kept going wrong. - Kitchen cabinet install was not leveled, we end up telling them to not bother coming back and we installed the whole kitchen ourselves (re-leveling the base cabinets, putting on the hardware, installing the cabinet doors. - broke several custom panels (to their credit, they did pay for the reorder) but we ended up installing it ourselves , which we were never offered refund the labor. - the kitchen counter was not leveled, we also had to redo it ourselves in order for the independent countertop guys to install it. - cut hole for electrical switch too big, huge gap now in our org Eichler panel that is not repairable unless we replace the whole wall. - cut hole in wood beam ceiling too big for ceiling vent even though they had the manufacturer's specifications. tried to fix it, but it looks terrible. - lied and said they had experience installing lux vinyl tile. They didn't. The flooring , which is supposed to be new, looks like flooring that has been there for years and hadn't been replaced. It was discolored, uneven, not leveled, and not even lined up. How can you mess up lining up squares? Our sales person Joe ,came and made excuses after excuses , telling us " no one can install it better than them" , that this is the "best" we'll get. I cannot believe he could look us in the face and say that. We ended up requesting 1500 back, though for us to reorder redo the tiles for the kitchen will be 3K+. - as a last F you to us, they gave us the bill for the permit fees which includes a 3% of project cost recycling deposit that is 100% refundable if they just do the paperwork and let the city know where they recycled the demolition material. Our kitchen project was 80K and so it was $2400. Guess what, they "never heard of this" and have no proof of where they recycled the material and so cannot get the refund. I have no idea where they dumped the material.....and we're out 2400. The best thing about this project is finishing and NEVER having to deal with them again."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Geico Builders on a major home renovation project, adding ADU that me and my partner have been putting off/saving up for years and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've been at my home for quite some time, and it was built in Fremont in 1960's so it was long overdue for a serious remodel. Honestly, remodeling is scary and finding the right folks to do such a huge task can be daunting. We needed a lot including a 450 sq. ft. Addition, a complete kitchen renovation, and remodels of our master bathroom for when my partners parents come to visit from out of town. In walk Geico Builders, who not only were kind to our inquiry but also local which is a huge deal for ease of access. From start to finish the project managers Mila and Jean, were exceptional. They were always available to answer our questions and provided valuable insights that helped shape our vision into a reality, they didn't feel too pushy and were all about collaborating with us, not just taking that tasks on their own and running with it, they were open to our ideas, which made it special. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the project and it was clear to me, these guys know their stuff. The new 450 sq. ft. addition has completely transformed our living space, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal, I even had room to add a couple of items my partner didn't initially think would fit, but here we are. I bake a lot, and now the kitchen feels more like my kingdom than anything else. The amount of space I have for my obsessive baking habit is not only beyond my beliefs, but also extremely beautiful and modern space. The master and guest bathrooms have been turned into luxurious spaces not only for myself and my partner, but for visiting family members and friends. My parents are ecstatic to stay there now, and I feel more comfortable having them stay with us, versus suggesting they stay in a hotel. What stood out most was the dedication Mila and Jean showed to making sure every detail was perfect. They took our ideas and enhanced them (again us only knowing little), ensuring that the result exceeded our expectations. We now have the home of our dreams, and we owe it all to this team. I would highly recommend Geico Builders to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused construction company. Mila and Jean are true professionals who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results. Thank you to everyone, for making our home renovation a wonderful experience!
