"Mario has been our Handyman for over the last 5yrs. He's remolded our home by putting down title in our home. He has remodeled both of our bathrooms, he put in receding lighting through out our home. He's installed ceiling fans. He also setup our backup generator. Mario does excellent work, and I won't use any other contractor on my home. 5 stars to Mario for his awesome work. 👍👍👍👍👍"

"David was the only handyman listed to answer his phone on a Sunday. I needed work done the following Saturday as it was our only day off. He doesn't typically work on Saturday but agreed to do the work. He arrived on time and got right to work on hanging a very delicate chandelier in a very high place. He also installed a doggie door. They were very professional, finished in a timely manner and charged a fair price. I would use them again and recommend them."

Customers say: Quick response

"He repaired a screendoor as well as my front door. The screendoor required new screen, and new handle. The front door required the door to be planed and leveled; rehung. Then the locks adjusts. Then he was kind enough to fix the weather stripping on the side door as well. He was pleasant, efficient, cleaned up after himself. I would recommend him to anyone and hire him again myself."

"Alex is a genuinely great professional, everything from presentation, estimation and execution. The work is exactly as expected. I have struggled with these doors for years, had several companies attempt to fix. Beautiful work and I also have to say that Alex is very pleasant as well. I recommend without any reservations."

FAQs for doors (exterior) installation and replacement projects in San Antonio, TX

If your entry bakes in direct sun, fiberglass is the clear winner. The material shrugs off extreme heat, stays energy-efficient, and won’t warp or fade the way wood sometimes can. Paired with low-E or UV-blocking glass, a quality fiberglass door keeps hot air out, cool air in, and should serve you reliably for roughly two decades.

A seasoned door pro can hang a replacement door in two to four hours—mounting the slab, tweaking the fit, and adding hinges, knobs, and weatherstripping. If the jamb needs repairs or you’re cutting a brand-new opening, plan on extra time so everything lines up and seals tightly. Either way, most projects wrap up in a single afternoon.
