"I cannot say enough about Steve Scharf and his lead (Gaspar) at KT Construction. I hired KT to pull-and-replace all the landscaping at my home in Laguna Niguel in September 2020. Steve gave me such confidence during our first meeting that I asked him to draw the design (for new plants and irrigation) as if it were his own home. He quickly drew up the plan, reviewed it in detail with me, and scheduled the work for 3 days later. The work, including sprinkler replacement and modification, was done quickly, cleanly, and was overall top notch! "After years of neglect we needed a whole new yard and Fernando and his crew did a wonderful job. First they had to remove everything including some trees, weeds and overgrown plants. Then came new sprinklers, new sod, new block wall around planter, poured concrete for a new patio and made a retaining wall. They planted almost 150 new plants, 2 trees and trimmed our existing tree. All of this only took 10 working days just like Fernando quoted (and some of those days were 12 hours long). "It went extremely well for the most part. We worked with Mike, who was very responsive and helpful. We took a long time to decide on which turf, and insisted on seeing several types in place on some lawns to help us figure out which one to buy. Good thing we did! Ones we liked in a one-foot square looked so fake when seen on the actual lawn, and we wanted something that looked as real as possible. Mike went out of his way to make sure we had access to all the possibilities, and came out several times to help us with the decision process. We finally picked a turf after driving all over to see their work in place. Once we decided which one we wanted, the work was done very quickly, and it looks fabulous. They've returned to fix up a few loose ends, and will also be repairing some damage that occurred when the recent rains caused an animal statue to topple over and poke a hole in the brand new turf. We're getting tons of compliments on how everything looks, and we love it too!"
