"Ed worked carefully with us to identify all our needs and provided a very reasonable estimate for the list of fixes and general repairs we needed. Keith and Junior arrived promptly on the agreed date and did high-quality work. We would (and likely will) call upon them again for additional work."

"KleanForce explained everything in detail that we could understand about the complete process that his work would entail, how long it would take both in testing and completing the job. Also, we got a detailed report on the testing results. He went through the entire report with us via email and a conference call explaining the results and what it would require to complete the job. Also he told us we would receive the report in two days and that is exactly what happened, unlike another company which we are still waiting on in regards to a different service. When I agreed on KleanForce doing the job, he scheduled us in and that is exactly what happened. KleanForce is very professional and made us very aware that we should not receive a bid from any company regarding a job such as this that was not willing to test first and physically view the concerned area in order to know what we were up against, again different then another company's performance. This job for the price was very reasonable with no surprises and was less then half the other company's bid who did not view the crawl space or offer testing prior to a bid estimate. Over all, I was very satisfied with the professionalism, friendliness and prompt and quality service. This quality service is hard to come by these days. I appreciate the willingness to do what was necessary, explain and not take advantage of unnecessary work."

"Even though it didn't use this company for a small tile job I needed but would consider using themfor a much larger job I have planned in the future. The moment I contacted Brian from the last day I talked to him, he was very professional, punctual, and loved his work ethic. I did get to see videos of his work, and looked like he does excellent work. <br />"

FAQs for toxic lead testing projects in San Elizario, TX

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a strong chance it contains lead-based paint. Many pre-1980 houses also contain lead in their plumbing and decorative materials, so age alone is a significant red flag. Older homes near industrial areas face an even higher risk. Because you can’t confirm lead by sight, scheduling a test is the safest way to protect your family.

In older houses, lead can lurk in painted trim, window sashes, soil around the foundation, plumbing pipes, and even vintage hardware. The metal is toxic, and children and pregnant women are most at risk. Exposure can trigger developmental delays, learning problems, and organ damage. Because the EPA links even low levels to serious health effects, test every suspected surface and address any hazards right away.

A positive test means lead is present somewhere you can touch, breathe, or disturb. The next step is a full risk assessment to map exactly where the hazard lies and outline the safest fix: encapsulation, enclosure, or full removal. Repairs start at $1,000 but can exceed $10,000 for complete elimination, so act quickly and hire certified pros to keep your family safe.

EPA lead certification proves that inspectors, risk assessors, and abatement contractors follow federal safety rules under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Program. The credential costs an average of $300, and certified professionals can legally test, contain, or remove lead hazards. Hiring a certified pro protects you from fines and ensures the work meets strict health standards.

Lead-based paint looks no different from any other paint, so you can’t identify it by color or sheen. Even flawless walls may hide it. If paint starts chipping, flaking, or peeling, schedule a professional test right away. Only laboratory-grade testing confirms lead and guides the safest fix for your home.
