"Gomer Basave brought a team of three to four men to construct a 180 foot trench for proper drainage from the landscaped garden to the back of the property. It took six days to build the trench as well as lay the pipes and test the water flow. Throughout the construction, the team worked hard to create the trench and the work was supervised by visits from Basave to the site. Starting with the estimate and proceeding with the work, Gomer Basave was an approachable, responsible and honest contractor who worked with his team to complete the project. The job was not an easy job but Gomer and his crew worked continuously to create a trench that could transport water away from the house. "We were in need to Remodel our Bathroom due to leak from the pipe in between two Bathrooms and change out the plumbing of our house from galvanized steel to copper, upgrade drain to ABS pipes. Geico Builders crew had an immediate availability to solve our issues. Mila was assigned to our project as a project manger. The communication of the project manager was outstanding as well as guidance on what has to be purchased for completing our beautiful Bathroom. Once the water leak was discovered and the subfloor damage was assessed. A repair plan was quickly in place for the leak. Plus a plan to restructure and build a stronger subfloor. Overall, Mila and Supervisor Ruiz and their team were very excellent at staying on schedule and completing the project with quality workmanship. Overall we are very happy with our beautiful new bathroom. Our renovation project was completed on time and the new look absolutely met our expectations. Our main expectations/requirements were a regular shower pan, the shower walls and the flooring, all done with quality porcelain tile. Adding a shampoo niche and 2 safety grab bars in the shower area. Plus the bench which I am so happy with. All of these items were installed with attention to detail and with quality workmanship. We set up a date/time for a consultation and Juan was available and prompt and had great energy, listened to what we wanted and provided great ideas. Then we picked a date and he and his team worked on a Sunday and got it all done. There were efficient, knowledgeable, talented, neat, and friendly. They had a truck with all the equipment, they bought all the trees and plants and they removed all trash and debris and left our front yard looking lovely. We could not have been happier with how our new fence, mulch, Cyprus trees, Japanese Maple and Bougainvillea front yard turned out. "I sent him this: Hi Pablo, I want to make sure we are on the same page and my apologies for any misunderstandings. Original quote was for $1,800. Then changed to $2,100 for using Rain Bird products. We agreed Which I listed in a text on Jun 25, that I wanted specific valves, controller/timer and a rain sensor. Then you started the work and an addition $200 was added for repairs/leaks, bringing the total to $2,300. We agreed. We sent you $1 to confirm Zelle was correct and then Zelle'd $1,150, which was 50% of the $2,300. When you came out to install the correct controller/timer, I asked about adding Zone 8. You said it would be $250. I sent you a text, July 2, requesting a $100 charge for the Zone 8 valve, and you would not need to install the Rain Sensor. We spoke on the phone today July 3, in the am regarding some leaks and you said, $150 would be fine for Zone 8. You installed Zone 8, added 2 more sprinkler tops/units for $15 each and a receipt for $38.86. We sent a Zelle today (July 3) for $1,368.86. That would have been the remaining $1,1150, $30 for 2 additional sprinkler tops/units, $150 install for Zone 8 and the $38.86 receipt. The 2 sprinkler head/units, we did discuss today, are incorrect, because they water the wall and you would replace those. If I missed something, please let me know. It's important to me, to make sure you have been paid correctly. I would still like to hire you to add a shut off for the top 4 valves and add additional drip system, to make sure all the plants are being watered."
