"I met and dealt with Richard while I was having my bardominium built in 2023. The concrete he pored for the 64x40 was perfect. He helped me out in many other ways on his own time on the weekends. I am happy that he has acquired the honest family business his dad worked so hard to make successful, and that Richard has been a part of since a very young age."

"Josh came out and gave me an estimate for raising up my above ground 3 seasons porch and slabjacking part of the patio, sidewalk and driveway.  He was very straighforward and personable.  We kept in touch by email about project start times, etc and when the time came, they were prompt, did the job professionally and everything looks great.  I couldn't be happier!  If you need any work of this kind done, these are the guys to call! <br />"

"I told them over the phone what the problem was,   The waterheater was leaking water from under the lid. i had a receipt and invoice of the existing waterheater.  I told them the model #, the serial # and the date it was installed.  They told me it had a six year warranty and it was only 5 years old.  A replacement would be free.  They made an appointment for the next day.  Later that day they called back and told me it could be today if I wanted.  When the plumber arrived later that day, he had the new  waterheater in his truck.  He took out the old one and installed the new one. He was personable,  knowledgeable, organized, , and  left the area clean.  He charged me for two and a half hours, which seems kind of long to install a waterheater, but he did have to take time to get the new one and dispose of the old one.  And, what the heck, the waterheater unit itself was under warranty.  And now I have a new one with a new 6 year warranty. <br />"

"Completed. I was told I should check with a heating and cooling business to make sure the fireplace was to code. It turned out that I should not use the fireplace. Floor of fireplace could crumble after a few fires! So glad I took the suggestion!"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in San-jose, IL

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
