"The pool that We Fix Ugly Pools created for us looks amazing, and it's the perfect size for our patio. We can now spend time in our pool during Arizona's hot summers. Thank you very much to Brian for his hard work and efforts."

"It was a smooth and efficient process. Afer and on site quote, we went to a paver location and looked at the options. Once we had chosen what we wanted, the date was set. The removal took one day and the pavers were complete in two. (Everyone in the neighborhood was happy at how quickly the job was done.) The finished product looks great and we are entirely satisfied. <br />"

"Not well. They were may landscapers for several year. However, lately the work quality diminished. I asked them to trim up a vine growing on my fence because it had gotten out of hand and was growing over my garden shed and covering a hose bib. The nearly took the vine down to the ground and it looked horrible. I contacted the company and they agreed to refund some of the money I paid for the job and to re-attach the vine to the wall. They never completed cleaning around the hose bib and left my hose in a heap in the vegetable garden."

"Called Booth Built to install gutter so when it rains we don't get a downpour between patio roof & pergola. Booth explained what way to install gutters and down spout. Very knowledgeable professional and same for the installers that came out. They even matched the color of gutters to house. Installers were accommodating, friendly and did a great job."

"Pryors Better Yards is FIRST CLASS.  Bob (owner) was on top of every aspect of the job.  He was prompt returning phone calls before, during, and after the job was complete.  He met with us and our landscape architect a number of times to make sure we got the design we wanted.  Bob was conscious of the slope of the yard and suggested changes to facilitate drainage.  His crew was outstanding.  They came in, worked all day and left the site tidy everyday.  They worked every day to finish the job fast.  The curved paver barrier they built around the grass is tight.  Each paver block was hand cut in order to form the curves.  No weeds will grow between those joints.  The paver sidewalks set in polymeric sand have held up perfectly these last 10 months, despite some severe thunderstorms.  We have always been do-it-yourselfers so we know how various home improvement jobs should be done.  We are at the age now that we have to hire out the heavy work.  We are so glad Pryors Better Yards worked on our project.  They do quality work.  We could not have done the job any better.  We HIGHLY recommend them! <br />"

"I obtained several estimates to have my side yards and back yard landscaped. This included a couple of irrigation lines, lots of pavers, and a bench constructed of stacked stone sides and a flagstone cap. Hawkeye Landscaping’s estimate was comparable to most of the others, but our interactions with the office staff and with Kelly distinguished them from their competitors. The office staff was professional and friendly, and Kelly was personable, knowledgeable, and seemed honest and sincere. Since we were having the landscaping work performed while we were out of town, these characteristics were crucial. The crews were punctual, proficient, and meticulous. Although I was not present at the job site, I was kept informed of their progress. The work was completed on time, and the final result exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail and pride in theircraft is evident. Most importantly, Hawkeye stands behind their work. We had a minor leak that was caused by a small pebble that had found its way into one of the sprinkler valves which resulted in the valve staying open. This was discovered late on a Friday afternoon, but there was a crew at my property promptly to repair it. I cannot say enough good things about Hawkeye Landscaping, and I would recommend them to anybody. They will also be my first – and only - choice for any additional landscaping work I need in the future."

"Had Arrowhead remove old tile, grind the slab, and create what they call a "Flagstone" pattern right into the slab, complete with non-slip texture and a sealant. The whole process took about 4 days. Removing the old tile was clearly the most labor-intensive task, as expected. The work was performed right after Xmas, (Phoenix area) so the condo was open... at first.. The process of grinding off the concrete remnants from the old tile install creates an enormous amount of dust. Even with doors and windows closed, there was a fair amount of dust on the floors of the condo. Not a big deal for me, tho. Of course, everything had to be removed from the patio for the entire length of the project. Sprinklers were disabled.. After completion, I needed to wait a couple days before the sprinklers were enabled, and a full week before I could load the patio up with furniture. I am totally satisfied with the job. All crew members were very knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. They did exactly what they said, and did it in the time frame specified. I asked some of my other contractors about the pricing, and most said it was very reasonable for the work performed. I tend to ask a lot of questions, especially when I'm unfamiliar with the process, and the crew was more than happy to answer all my questions. They incorporated the expansion joints right into the tile texture so there should be no impact if the deck moves a bit again in the future. The crew gave me a "patch kit" consisting of the components they used to create the texture. The office followed-up with me after the work was finished, to ensure I was happy with the process. I can't really suggest anything they could have done to improve the experience for me. I will have them over again when I decide to redo my front patio."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in San Manuel, AZ

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
