"They were amazing! We’ve used them twice now and hope they are able to come back to do the rest of the floors. They are very professional and always start working the second they pull into the driveway. No stalling, procrastinating, or laziness. They work hard and the price is unbelievably fair for what they do."

"The job went really well. They removed all of my old carpet and the trash that was made. They placed the new tile in a few days. My kids and I were on vacation so we were home, and it did not cause a huge mess for us. When they finished, they took all the trash away with them. Everyone has really loved my floors."

"Great from the get-go. Tony and his crew handled this job from start to finish excellently. My wife and our toddler + growing family recently purchased a home in September and moved in. Within a few weeks we wanted to make some changes/additions to the house and the kitchen was one of them. The kitchen was outdated so we reached out to Tony and he was able to come over same day and check out the project. We just wanted updated countertops/island and wanted to add backsplash. Tony gave us a price that was a little hard to believe but we didn’t even have the desire to reach out to other contractors. He worked with us from the start and let us know he would add backsplash and even put in a new sink with the price he gave us. I asked the city if we needed to pull a permit for the work and they assured us it was ok to do without and Tony even pushed his schedule back to make sure we got the time in to get an answer for this as we wanted to do everything the legal and correct way. Fast forward 3 days and his crew arrived promptly ready to get to work. I thought the work was going to take 1-2 days but they got the new island replaced, added backsplash, replaced the countertops and added the sink in with a nice feature that was a free upgrade done in 4/5 hours. Everything looked amazing, the craftsmanship was amazing and my wife and I were so pleased with the new esthetics. We appreciate their hard work and detailed work ethic since everything looked perfect. They cleaned up after themselves and were not in the way of my wife and I as we both work from home most days. After the job was done Tony walked me through the new install. After they left I clearly was not paying attention to what Tony instructed me to do with the aftercare and accidentally filled the sink up with dishes and water hours after they installed it. This caused the new sink to cave in and I embarrassingly called Tony and explained what I had done. He said this was no issue and would come over as soon as he could even though it essentially was my fault that caused the sink to not settle with the new caulking and cave in since I filled it up. He came after he had already done a job and I was grateful for this and even upon fixing the issue he offered to install a new garbage disposal for me. I quickly jumped at the opportunity as in the past I’ve gotten screwed price wise in the past by plumbers. He let me know he would wait for me to go to Home Depot and purchase a new, lighter more efficient garbage disposal. I ran and got one and came back as he was just finishing the repair to the sink and installed it within minutes, once again, for free. Once I figure out how to post pics I will to this post but the job was flawless and I truly appreciate Tony’s customer service. We have a plan to finish the basement eventually and are absolutely going with Tony and his crew since the kitchen looks ten times better and we love it. Have no doubts they will do an even better with a bigger project to show off their true workmanship."

"I can't give enough praise for Manuel and his team. I was referred their business and couldn't be happier. Not only were they very professional, responsive and helpful, they put themselves in my shoes to recommend the best solution. I personally had to reschedule my install day last minute and they worked with me while thanking me again for my business. They tarped off the work area, which contractors seem to forget now days and cleaned up when complete. They really are the whole package and I would recommend them to anyone."

FAQs for tile: ceramic and porcelain repair projects in San-miguel, NM

People use the terms refinishing, resurfacing, and reglazing interchangeably. Refinishing is a process that repairs old tiles and gives them a fresh new coat of finish. This is also called tile resurfacing or reglazing.

Yes, you can refinish tiles as a DIY project, but it’s important to follow all the steps involved. These include the following:

  1. Clean the tiles or hire a local tile cleaning service to remove all the residue (soap film, oil, grease, and dirt).

  2. Etch the tile to ensure the refinishing solution adheres properly.

  3. Fill in any cracks or chips in the tile.

  4. Recoat the grout.

  5. Repair any missing or damaged caulking where applicable.

  6. Apply the refinishing product, primer, and enamel.

Your newly reglazed tile should last between 10 and 15 years with proper installation. However, higher-traffic areas and moisture may result in a reduced life span. Explore the cost of different tile types to determine which material works best for your home and needs.

Your bathtub and tile refinishing cost will likely seem like a small price to pay for the transformation it offers. Provided your tile and grout are both intact, refinishing will bring a brand-new style at a fraction of the cost.

Yes, most ceramic tile is paintable with specific epoxy or tile paints. However, you’ll want to avoid areas of heavy use or moisture, such as countertops, showers, and bathtubs. Paint can crack, bubble, or wear away over time, especially on floors.
