"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. "Ray and his son could not have been better. My husband was the one who was there while the work was done and he came home with a glowing report. He was impressed with the quality of the water heaters Ray provided and with Ray's knowledge and skill. He also said Ray was just a likable guy and enjoyable to talk to. My husband usually installs faucets himself, but since Ray was scheduled to be there, we asked him to do it. We were so glad we did. The previous homeowner had done some pretty creative configuration under the sink in his do-it-yourself faucet installation and even Ray had his work cut out for him getting things properly aligned and getting the new one in. My husband thought that might have taken more of Ray's time than installing the two new water heaters did! Ray also was able to instantly diagnose and repair the master bathtub drain that had been leaking into the crawlspace. After all was said and done, Ray charged us exactly what he promised for the water heaters (which was a bit less than Sears would have been) and only $90 extra for installing the faucet and fixing the tub drain, even though the faucet was a time consuming pain. We would absolutely have Ray back and asked for a stack of business cards to give our friends and neighbors. "

"During a bad storm I started having water coming through the ceiling of my sewing room, the converted garage, where it met the main house. I called two roofers, Mr. Holcomb, who was highly rated in Angie's List, and a second who isn't listed here but was highly recommended by two independent sources. Mr. Holcomb came out first. He came on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered to do a quick fix on my leak and said that if I wanted, I could send him $25 after I'd seen whether this fixed the leak. Then he estimated the full replacement of the roof that I knew I was going to need. <br /> The second roofer was also professional, on time and knowledgeable, and gave me a much lower estimate, so I am  having him replace the roof this spring. However, I was impressed not only with Mr. Holcomb's abilities, but his generosity in letting me choose to pay or not to pay for the quick fix. (I chose to pay.) If the second roofer couldn't schedule my job I'd have no problems going with Mr. Holcomb. <br />"
