My husband and I moved into an older home that dated yellow color hardwood floors and some areas where it seemed there was debris embedded into the poly coating. I received a few estimates. "Overall, okay experience getting my floors replaced on 2 levels. I was on a time crunch and do appreciate them getting the work done in time. However, I pointed out several items that were unsatisfactory. I paid additional for painting the trim and moulding and fixing a dip in the floor, and painting the ceiling that were not completed. The crew also got some scratches on my newly painted walls. After trying to chase him down for a few months to resolve, I have given up and found another contractor. The actual flooring work was completed well, just not everything around it unfortunately."
