"A neighbor's nearby cottonwood tree had buckled our existing driveway so we needed the old driveway removed, roots cut and a high density, reinforced driveway poured. All work was performed as stated. The company said it might be a few weeks before they could schedule me but found an opening so that I got the work completed in less than a week. The receptionist, Brenda, was very communicative at all stages. Concrete finishers were clearly highly skilled. Owner, Cuco, checked on work consistently throughout the project and personally made sure everything was tidy at the conclusion. Beautiful work. I am extremely happy with the finished product."

Customers say: Quick response

"The team was here when they said they would be and were always polite and professional and answered any questions that I had. The job took roughly four days to complete. After a few days I noticed a couple issue towards the end of the driveway so I contacted them and they came out to assess the issue and agreed they would address my concerns. I am very very pleased with the service and professionalism of this company. They made sure each day they left that my property was clean and tidy from their days work. This company is quite busy however it is well worth the wait to have them do your concrete work."

"MC bid 4000 psi concrete with rebar, although driveways are typically 3000 psi with mesh. Crew arrived on schedule. First day was old driveway removal then prep for the pour. Put in 1/2 in rebar on 24 in centers with standoffs. Very meticulous. Took them from 7 AM until about noon. Pour started at 6 AM on the second day. Extensive careful finishing which wasn't completed until about 11 AM. They put a lightly brushed finish on it. Third day one of the crew returned to remove the forms and generally clean up and touch up. Crew obviously knew what they were doing. Resulting driveway looks excellent. Can't comment on durability for about another 10 years or so. :) Overall, MC did an excellent job and I would use them again and recommend them to others. They stepped on a couple of plants, but that was unavoidable. No issues whatsoever."

"Eric, Matthew, and Lorenzo did a great job. They are friendly, easy to have around the house, and got things done quickly. They did an excellent job installing the flooring and fixing our drywall problems. The floors came out beautifully, and we are very happy with them. We are both happy that our drywall that was damaged will look like it used to. They also kept a very clean worksite and hauled off all of the waste it produced. We have already referred ERG to two family members, and we will be checking in with Eric the next time we have a project to see if he is available."

"They did the work at my daughters house. They've done work for me for a long time. I've had some issues but I think it's explainable. They do a good job. I would tell others that they are very responsive, especially if you have an emergency. They're easy to deal with them over the phone and internet. It's a good locally owned company."

"When a flow test showed we had a water leak outside the house our home inspector recommended John.  He came over right away to talk about the problem and schedule the work. <br /> I appreciated the way he approached the problem and looked for simple solutions first.  He was also seemed careful about labor costs so that the resulting bill wasn't inflated unnecessarily.  He took care to reduce the impact of trenching on the yard and plants. <br /> I would definitely call him again for this kind of project. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Excellent! Excellent! On all counts. Owner Karl Parker showed up only a few hours after my initial call to leak check the original shower pan in order to insure that it was indeed the culprit, and not some unknown leak in the plumbing. It only took 15-20 minutes to make the initial determination that we did have the anticipated, and ugly, problem. We contracted with him only a couple days later. Upon seeing what they ripped out of the initial work, everything they discovered was explained to me in detail. The work they did to repair and rebuild the shower went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Walls were not square and true. (Are they ever?) Some interior wall studs had been cut to make way gor relocated plumbing. The long back wall of the shower containing a pocket door needed to be reinforced. I could go on but you probably get the picture. All these things and more were corrected. Karl’s attention to detail is amazing. As the new tile eent up, we had a row of decorative tiles put in a little above eye level. A “defect” myself and my wife probably would have never noticed led to them taking that riw of tile out and reinstaling it in order to make it right. A couple of very nice finishing touches offred by Karl were agreed upon. Replacing the somewhat clunky tiled corner shelves with ones made from granite was one; and replacing the previously tiled curb/step-over with a piece of granite was another. Both these changes made for a very nice looking finished shower. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. They always showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves every day, and basically made the whole process pretty muck painless. I did NOT do multiple competitive bids to have this work done as I might have done in the past. Why? One was that the “chemistry” seemed good right off the bat. Two was that the price we were quoted, while not entirely cheap, seemed fair. After seeing the work they had to do to make our shower whole again, we got an entirely fair deal. In at least some cases, you do get what you pay for, and Karl Parker and All American Design and Construction are one of those who get the job done, and done right."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Santa Fe, NM

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
