He arrived on time, listened to what we wanted and left us with a firm quote on having the work done. I was thrilled to have a quote that day because another company I called did not do that and it took 2 weeks to get a price quote from that other company.</p> <p>Not only did Action Security Iron make us awesome security doors, but they were quite happy to install a dog door in the back security door. We provided the door that matched the one on our original back door and they installed it. Now both doors have the dog door so our dogs can still go out when they like, even though we have the security door and the regular back door. They had a lot of different colored finishes to choose from and allowed us to choose our hardware also.</p> <p>We were so pleased with the work they did on our security doors in March, 2015 that we called them back to ask for a quote on powder coating our gate so that it would match the security doors. Our gate was purchased through another iron company not quite 3 years ago and unbeknownst to us, it had only been spray painted black. That paint was no oxidizing and we were also noticing some rust, so we asked Action Security Iron for a quote. They did a great job and were reasonably priced. They even provided a temporary gate so that our dogs wouldn't get out of the back yard.</p> <p>Every time they did work at my house, they left the area cleaner than they found it. The quality of their work is excellent and every one of the employees were responsive, punctual and well kept. "Dana and his wife did an excellent installation of two gate motors, a solar collector with battery, and open/close controls for our existing metal gate. He found that the gate needed to be modified, and he was able to do the modification on the spot. He spot painted the welds to prevent rust, and I got the gates powder coated later. His estimate was good, and the price was very fair. The finished installation is excellent. Almost a year later, one of my gate hinges failed. Dana was able to come out and fix the broken gate within a couple days after I called, and he charged a very reasonable price for the repair. I will definitely call him again for future work. We discussed what I wanted and he helped me design the fencing and gates to meet my desires and the requirements of my HOA.  HOA limits to the total length of the fencing required some minor changes. A fall rain event delayed the work but the following week when the area had dried sufficiently, the work was completed in a few days. When I showed a picture of the completed work to the architectural committee of the HOA they seemed impressed by the fencing."
