"Superbly. Novak and his staff are the best I know of in the Twin Cities. They are wonderfully exacting in their demands on themselves. Perfection is standard performance for them. They make useful suggestions for handling unexpected problems encountered in the course of the work. David Novak is a gifted judge of color and the compatibilities of various colors that will go together in a room. <br /> Not surprisingly, they are a bit more expensive than their competition. However, the difference is not great. We used another organization on our last re-decoration. For the higher price, Novak performed far, far better. The increased cost was definitely worth it in our view. <br /> I can't imagine anyone going wrong in hiring this firm to do interior re-decoration. <br />"

"We called Cady Handyman Services and a pleasant gentleman discussed our deck project. <br />Cady Handyman scheduled one of his service tech to come out the follow morning. <br />The tech arrived promptly at the scheduled time with a friendly ready to fix our problem attitude. <br />We have raised nails and screws on our deck that always seem to reappear during winter months. <br />These raised nails and screws made snow removal just horrible. The Cady tech recommened that we remove many of the bad loose fastners and replaced with a new non-corosive styles of screws. <br /> After a complete walk through of our project we were extremely satified. <br /> <br />With our project completed we are now looking forward to the winter to come. <br /> <br /> With our total satisfaction with Cady Handyman Services we have again committed to them for our up coming basement project <br /> <br /> <br />The Fosland's <br />Bloomington, Mn."

"Dave and I played a bit of phone tag to get to the time when we could meet and quote. There were many designs I liked from his collection but I finally narrowed it down to one. He broke out the bit of fancy-ness so I could compare with a more bare bones look. I chose the fancier one. I had a written quote from another firm who didn't meet with me personally but the reviews of Shegstad sold me on this firm. He had them installed within a week and they are beautiful."

"I had a wonderful experience with Rob. He called ahead and let me know that he could arrive early if I would like (Yes!) He took his time assessing what my wants/needs were and fully explained two options for completing the work. He advised which he thought would be most effective (which was actually the less expensive option!), patiently answered my questions and helped me come to a well-informed decision on which course of action we wanted to take. He listened well and explained his reasoning based on his experience. He then went to work and worked efficiently and at a good pace. I was juggling taking care of my baby, too, who was having a really hard day, and not only was he understanding of me being pulled in different directions, he was patient in waiting for my responses to his follow-up questions as he worked (where, exactly, I wanted the TV placed, etc.) Some of the drill-work through my cabinetry was a little sloppy, but it was a complicated piece of furniture to maneuver through, and he even went out of his way to pick up caulking to match the paint color and patch the spot where some of the wood chipped. In the end, he did excellent work hiding our wires in the least invasive, but aesthetically pleasing way, and he did a fantastic job mounting our TV. He even studied it to make sure it was perfectly level and corrected what must have only been a half-centimeter of tilt. He went above and beyond by helping program one of our remotes to the TV (we had been using 2--one for power and volume & the other for cable). He also offered suggestions on a product we might want to look into (infrared transmitter) since our cable box and DVD player are in a cabinet. Overall, he went above and beyond in our service. I would highly recommend him and I believe you can trust your project to him. I would recommend him to my family and friends any day!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Sartell, MN

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
