In the end, they were able replace faulty fasteners, seal up the seams and caulk some problem areas at 1/8th the cost of a full replacement. They even added additional rows of screws as need to bring the fasteners up to current standards. This reconditioning job should give another 15 to 25 years out of the existing metal roof.
