For example, he suggested during mid-job I replace my old posts and handrails instead of sanding and refinishing and adjusted the price down. They worked extra hours to get things right. He hired a painter to fix patching and painting we should have expected from the staircase demo. "Al came out initially on time (early actually!) was exceptionally professional and gave a tiered quote on work that "needs" to be done and "could" be done with fair pricing. We scheduled the work for a later date and Al returned and did a fantastic job! He was punctual (again) and efficient-completing all the agreed upon work in a timely manner. He also plugged a hole in the back of our fireplace we didn't know about until we removed the wood burning stove and filled extra cracks on the chimney after capping it.
