"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "Two employees showed up at my home on time to do an estimate on the few things we needed repaired to complete the sale of our home. The work performed is provided in detail. I was totally shocked at the cost for the repairs on the estimate but we went a head and agreed to having the work performed since we're close to our settlement date. I must say the work performed on everything except the electrical panel was top notch. I say this because the labeling of the electrical panel was completed by writing in Black magic marker what rooms were on each breaker. I was expecting at least to see printed labels used for what we were charged. I/we were expecting to pay $300 - $500 for these few things to be fixed but boy was I am thankful for the work performed but I wouldn't hire this company again only because their prices are outrageous.
