"We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. "I contacted Handy Dominick based on the terrific reviews he received on Angie's List. From my experience I can confirm those reviews are well-deserved. Dominick was a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work was excellent and so was the timing. I was under a tight deadline to get my apartment into shape and Dominick fit me into his schedule and then got everything done on time as promised . This was especially noteworthy because in several cases the work was more involved than expected (for example, it turned out that the previous kitchen floor had not been installed properly) and also I added a few items to the project as it went along. Besides the "big stuff" - painting and replacing the kitchen floor - Dominick addressed my accumulated wish list of minor repairs and enhancements. For example, he fixed closet doors that weren't closing properly, replaced a defective bathtub spout, replaced a rusty shower rod, installed a new shower head, Dominick is a problem-solver. He had great suggestions, for example he came up with an attractive way to insulate a heating pipe and upgraded my lighting by finding LED fixtures ("cans") that worked with my old track light track. Additionally, I appreciated Dominick's familiarity with working in co-ops. He was great on providing all the required paperwork - license, insurance certificate, indemnity agreement. And he fully complied with all the co-op's rules regarding work hours, removal of debris, etc. As in any project, there was a punch list at the end (in this case really just a few odds and ends), and Dominick was very gracious and attentive in resolving those items. I came away feeling very happy with the work itself and also very happy with the experience of meeting and working with Dominick and his wife Maria (who handles some of the scheduling and paperwork). I know I am repeating myself but Dominick was a pleasure to work with. With his positive attitude and creativity, he took situations that seemed hard and complicated and made them look easy."

"Words cannot describe how well these guys did and everything they worked with us on. We had several small jobs and deck work. They painted our high vaulted walls and ceilings. They fixed our shower plumbing and added an acces panel for the shower. They installed a new ceiling fan. They re-faced our rotted deck and replaced several joists. Replaced both sets of stairs and set them in concrete. Amazing woodworking, professionalism, punctual, truly good people that you can actually trust. All work was done in a very timely fashion. "Mack and his team finished our detached garage for a new workspace this summer. The garage was only studded, with a cement floor. They installed insulation, hung drywall, added French doors, new windows and molding, new baseboards, painted, and installed carpet. They always showed up on time and worked hard. Several months back we wanted to update our detached 2 car garage and build an attic for storage and finish the inside. Having met with numerous contractors Robert stood out to us the most due to his meticulous thought process, creative ideas and his flexibility. Rather than providing us a basic quote he proposed numerous ideas on how to make the garage best suit our needs. Before even committing to Robert he wrote a detailed proposal with a variety of options, allowing us to make an educated decision based upon our budget. Once we signed up to work with him, we met several times even before beginning the project to go over the process and our wishlist. As Robert got to know us as a family he also made helpful suggestionsâ for example installing a spotlight for our dogs, installing an outlet in the garden so we could have string lights on the fence in the summertime, increasing the amps in our garage panel box, and recommending a steel beam to span our garage so we didnâ t need a support pole in the middle of the floor space. Never once did he make a decision without consulting us and went over the prices with us for modifications to the original plan. Truly transparent! His crew was nice as can be, as well as neat and tidy. They improved the overall aesthetics on the exterior of our garage by replacing broken siding and installing new lights. It was very easy to communicate with Robert via cell phone throughout the process. As they began to work we expanded our project due to the satisfaction of working with him. What originally started as structure improvements and lighting upgrade, turned into a complete makeover. We couldnâ t be happier with the result and have already begun to speak with Robert about future projects.
