"The guys were a great team. They showed up on time, communicated well with each other, and cleaned up any mess they made. There was quite a gap of time between when they finished the porch and came back to finish the ceiling (a small part was due to electrical work) because they overbooked themselves, but they kept in contact with me about it and successfully completed the job. Only complaint at this point is I contacted them after the job was done about something I had that went missing, and they never returned my messages. The morning he expected to install, he called and apologized that he'd inadvertently ordered the wrong shade of brown, and he'd have to re-order them. My wife & I were impressed, because a less honest person could have gone ahead and installed the wrong brown and then claimed that the colors don't always look in reality the way they appear on the printed page. So his response to an understandable human error confirmed our decision that he was the right man for the job. (It had been three years since beginning the search process, so another month of waiting was insignificant to us.) When he and his crew did the installation, John apologized again for the delay. The installation was efficient and expert; they took care of some hidden rot issues; he didn't add hidden costs to the bill; and we now have first-rate windows that should last many years. We're sorry that he does only windows and that therefore we likely won't need to engage him again, because we think that he does high quality work with integrity.
