He removed the fluorescent ceiling light fixture and installed my choice of a lighted ceiling fan. He replaced and painted the damaged wood trim below the window. He installed horizontal faux wood window blinds. To the space that that was meant to be a clothes closet Danny painted it, added a clothes rod, a shelf and new closet doors. "We have an auto-maintenance agreement with The Door Refinishing Co, Inc( HappyDoors) and are 100% satisfied with their service. Several years ago (5-7) they refinished out faded and finished damaged front door. It is brutalized with the western setting sun. Since that time we have a refinsh agreement every 6 months ($79.95) and our front door appears new and beautiful year round ! And, we don't have to be home or leave door ajar during and after the maintenance (but you do for initial refinish but door is completely sealed with plastic to prevent wind and dust from home and refinished door). We are so happy to have found this company with prices, availability, punctuality, coutesy, and professionalism ! Complete refinishing of course took a little time and maintenance is done rather quickly. No inconvenience at all on maintenance ! We would use no one else for our doors !"

"The work was done very, very well. Alex gave us by-far the best quote for the work needed and didn't try to over-sell us things we didn't need. Alex did a perfect job installing a brand-new, high-tech Chamberlain motor to this second door and fixed the broken panel perfectly to match the other panels and the other door. In addition, he reinforced BOTH doors to make them stronger and prevent future breaks. He also modified BOTH doors to make them substantially quieter to open and close. The main door has a very old motor and used to be super loud when it was being opened or closed. Now, it is maybe 30% as loud as it used to be--a significant reduction. Alex also hit an unfortunate road-block when we realized we had bad-wiring in the house. He spent many extra, unanticipated hours working in the heat of the Texas summer to resolve the issue.
