"NGL was very attentive to detail throughout the project. The crew are artists - creating curves around tree trunks and some planting beds, which require that each stone on the curve be cut, but the results are gorgeous. The walls to terrace the yard had to deal with a slope, so a "swoop" was constructed that draws your eye and keeps the wall at appropriate height. Steep front yard grass removed and garden soil installed in newly terraced areas. Really like the choice of pavers - including a dark gray border and dark capstones on walls. Work done ahead of schedule, all old concrete, timbers and bricks removed, no surprises, very nice people."

"Harry and his team were amazing. Not only did they have the most competitive estimate but they were available within the week to start the project. The project got a bit bigger than expected and yet he still stuck to his estimate! They finished a huge paver patio within a week and it turned out beautifully. Everyone on his team was so sweet and work with us along each step of the way to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. They even added French drains along the side of the house to help us with unrelated draining issues. The service was excellent and Harry was always available to answer any questions or make changes on the fly. He is a good, honest business man and I would recommend him and Seattle Rockeries as a whole, to anyone looking to do a project on their home."

"Rodrigo & team have been providing gardening services for me for a decade now, on a relatively small scale. I'd hired a residential designer to craft a design for a backyard living space, and Rodrigo was my first thought for putting it into action. The team excavated/leveled the space for a flagstone patio and a to-be-installed gazebo. So much care was taken to prep the space, make the ground level, and follow the measurements. They laid the flagstone beautifully. They also built a retaining wall, providing some much-needed planting space. Finally, they laid down new grass, weed-blocker, and wood chips, providing the foundation for me to go crazy at nurseries this summer. I have a few friends who are very experienced with construction, etc., and they all have made special note of how the quality of this work. Note: this was NOT an easy feat from a labor, as 3-4 tons of materials had to be hauled by hand/wheelbarrow from my driveway to the back. I appreciate that they're still talking to me!"

They also repaired and enhanced our front entry by adding brickwork to the front step and sidewalk (on the side of the house), which not only covered existing cracks in the exposed aggregate but also gave the entire entryway a refreshed, high-end look. In addition, their team installed a new drainage line near our sport court, complete with a small retaining wall, a drop basin for water runoff, and drain rock at the end of the court. "French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"We decided our landscaping needing a total refresh and we hired Grassland-Synthetic Turf to build three large stone raised planter beds. Clay was my main point of contact and he was wonderful. After making the initial request for a quote, Clay came out quickly to give me an on-site estimate. In addition to providing a quote for the planter beds, he also gave me a bid for replacing our lawn with turf. Although I would have LOVED to get turf as well, it just wasn't in our budget at the moment. Clay was able to get us scheduled for the planter bed installation two weeks after I received the initial quote. He also came to do a walk-through ahead of time because I wasn't going to be home on the first day of the install. I felt confident that he knew exactly how I wanted the project to be completed. Communication with Clay and the crew was great. If they had any questions or suggestions, they would call or email (depending on how time-sensitive the question was) and get things squared away quickly. The crew worked extremely hard and did fantastic work. The total install took 3 days and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The crew also cleaned up everything when they left...our yard was definitely cleaner than before they started! Several of my neighbors have told me how much they like the planter beds. We just got the plants put in today and everything looks great!! I'm so happy with how this project turned out and I'm so glad I hired Grassland to make it happen! And maybe someday I'll get that turf..."
