"I contacted I contacted JVEC after I had a very bad experience with another contractor. I was told by the first contractor that my problem was very complicated requiring a complete rewiring of an entire circuit. That would require the work of two electricians for a full day at a cost of $3,100 plus a new electrical box for $6,000. This seemed ridiculous so I called JVEC. The electrician from JVEC arrived and agreed that it was a fairly complicated situation but he was able to fix the problem in about an hour at a cost of $189. - no new electrical box required. To me this is a great example of an honorable contractor and a contractor that is just trying to squeeze as many dollars out of a customer that they can. I highly recommend JVEC for their professionalism and ethics."

"I spoke with Brian on the phone and Steve came to check out the job. They were straight forward on what the job entailed and explained what I needed to do with Edison to move my panel. Their quote was $400 less than the other quote I got from another electrician. We scheduled the job and as told, it took 2 days. The electrical work was $2600 and stucco repair $150. Steve and his crew were all very nice, efficient and I will definitely get quotes for future jobs from Wilson Electric. The only issue that arose was the stucco guy was late, but he was finished by the time we had to leave, so didn't become a problem."

  2. Journeyman

This figure represents how much they make; not how much they bill. Their salary is only one component of their costs. They must also figure in overhead, taxes, equipment, insurance and several other expenses.
