"Because my unit was only a few years old, the technician had little to do, only an annual inspection/cleaning for $109 (a little less what I paid last year to a different company). He was able to do the job a day earlier than promised, which was nice. The technician suggested I switch to a 6-month air filter, to reduce the number of filter exchanges over the year, and he gave me a link to a supplier he used. I ordered two filters, using the link, but unfortunately the link was to the wrong filter, and I had to sent them back. When I contacted Cedar Creek about the problem, he offered to reimburse me for the cost of shipping the filters back, and to provide a free servicing next year, which was going above and beyond what I expected."

"<p>After a Lucky Duct representative came to our home to look at the furnace and the heater vents, we received written agreement to have heat ducts cleaned in Seaside, for $450.  They arrived on time for the appointment.  After puttering around for almost an hour, the gal in charge told me that it would cost more - $700 to do the work.  Nothing changed, no additional vents, furnace didn't change, nothing different than when they gave their written agreement.  She apologized, but nonetheless would not honor the written agreement without another $250.  If they're going to the effort of providing a written agreement, it's only good business to honor that agreement.  I have zero confidence they wouldn't do the same thing again.</p> <br />"
