"Josh replaced my sand filter and pump. He came out on a Monday or Tuesday. We agreed on a price and he said he would order the parts. He started the job on Thurs and said we would be swimming by Saturday. The pool was actually ready a day early on Friday Josh and group are professional, polite and knowledgeable. They kept me informed throughout the install and after. I will be using Hydro Pool going forward. Thanks Josh!!"

"On 7-2-13 I purchased from Quynnlectric (1) "Whole House inspection" and (2) "$70 for 1 Hour." The Whole House Inspection went fine. As I am remodeling, I had several needs which I was supposed to receive bids on. But Quynnlectric never got back to me. My two phone messages were unanswered. Finally, the office manager called to apologize as she was on vacation. The office phone calls were apparently being forwarded to her personal cell phone. She suggested I leave another message at the office after she cancelled the forwarding of the calls, which I did. Again, no reply. She called after returning from vacation and apologized again. There had been a death in the owners family. She promised me he would get back with me when he returned to town in a few days. I have never heard from him. I have contracted with another electrician and would like a refund for the "$70 for 1Hour" which I will never use. Thanks!"

"This was a large project for us as our entire backyard is hardscape. From the very beginning we were pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness of Matt and his crew. Their attention to detail and our special requests far exceeded our expectations. The work done around the swimming pool turned out better than we anticipated. You can see the work they did around our pool on their Facebook page. We highly recommend this company for their hardscape work."

"Doug was prompt in coming to our house. He installed a ceiling fan in our master bedroom. There was already electrical hooked up, however, the wall switch was a real mess and he fixed that to make it work properly. A ceiling fan in another bedroom was really messed up, had to have light off to run fan or had to have another light on to run fan on medium speed. Doug rewired the fan and switch, now it works perfectly. We thought we were going to have to buy a new ceiling fan, but he saved us money on that. The bedroom we use as our guest bedroom had no ceiling light and no wiring running to ceiling to even install one. Doug ran the wiring and installed a lighted ceiling fan, which works great. In AL, we were used to having lighting in all of our closets. In this house there are no lights in bedroom closets (except for the Master closet). So, Doug ran wiring, installed lighting and a switch outside each closet. It looks and works great. Finally, we needed a boost to our breaker box, so Doug added us more voltage in the box (I'm not sure I'm explaining this correctly, but what he did will protect our house from fires, surges and blowing fuses). Doug is so professional. He cleaned up very well and left everything immaculate. We will definitely use Doug and Greystone again when we remodel our master bath."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Sedalia, CO

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
