"Joe and his team did an incredible job! I can’t believe how great our backyard looks and how functional it is. In less than 1.5 days, Joe’s team removed rocks and other debris, extended our garden beds, planted 14 arborvitae trees, some lilac bushes, and a flowering dogwood tree. They set up our raised gardening area, laid a weed barrier, grass barrier and bark so it is beautiful and functional. They also removed a small pool and pavers and replaced with sod. They also laid a drip line that is easily controlled by our existing sprinkler system. Joe was super easy to work with and very accommodating. He understood my vision and had great suggestions for design. Would definitely work with Joe again!"

"Advance Hardscapes LLC did an excellent job on my retaining wall. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The quality of their workmanship really shows—the wall is solid, well-built, and looks great. They paid close attention to detail, stayed on schedule, and made sure everything was done right. I’m very happy with the final result and would highly recommend Advance Hardscapes LLC to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality hardscape work."

"We worked with Russell from beginning to end even though he had one of his crews do the actual work in our yard. Russell was AWESOME. His friendliness, honesty, punctuality, competitive quote (less than the other quote we'd received), and willingness to do whatever it took to make us happy with the retaining wall were all incredibly appreciated because this was an unexpected expense for us. Our wonderful neighbor agreed to pay for half of the job since the wall divides our properties, and Russell was willing to do two separate transactions after the job was done: half for us and half for our neighbor. Our neighbor wanted to use any intact railroad ties in his yard, so Russell's crew kindly set aside any reusable ones and hauled away the others. Even though the job took longer to do than anticipated and required quite a bit more pavers than quoted, Russell assured us in the beginning that anything above the quote would be covered by the company. He guarantees his quote no matter what, and he made good on that promise. Also, he guarantees his work no matter what, so if something were to happen with this wall, he would return and address it free of charge. If we ever need any further landscaping done in our yard, there is no question we will call Russell again. We couldn't be happier with the process and end result!"

"We'd gradually lost irrigation water pressure over the past couple of years until there was virtually no water to our pump. The company that had been servicing our system couldn't find and fix the problem. We asked friends and consulted Angie's List for another company. Colonial was consistently at the top of the recommendations we received. The owner, Lance, came out to meet with us, then sent his top guy to figure out the problem. We had to wait a couple of weeks because they have a lot of existing customers and this was at the height of an early heat wave. But when they got to us, they got right to it. They were here on the day they said they'd be, and it took the amount of time they'd estimated. The system takes into account our many kinds of watering needs, from lawn to flower beds to to a series of pots along the house to  a "wild" area to trees. They have already been back twice to tweak the system and to be sure things are going smoothly - which they are. They even reseeded over the trenches they dug in the lawn. We are so impressed with their professional and personable staff. Yes, it's expensive, but all the elements of the system are top notch and durable. The thoughtfulness of the system and the ability to make changes at a later date are outstanding. The service and the system is worth every dollar! <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Selah, WA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
